I'm going both days...will be at the hotel Fri/Sat.

I was also at the first airstrip event at Trona with my n54 335. This time I'm bringing my e92 M3 with ESS TV2 600 blower. I may have my brother bring my 335 as well.

The SoCal location. I don't see any VT1535's signed up yet. PG came to Trona in a customers car (e92 M3 VT1 535 6MT) and lost every race including (barely) to my 335 with only 4 bolt-ons. DA's were high (5,000+ feet) in the late afternoon when we ran so that's probably what kept that car from walking me.

Damn, well this airstrip should be better considering it's about 700ft above sea level right?

Yes. Trona was near 2,000 ft if I remember correctly. Heat soak was a bigger problem however due to having to sit and wait for long periods with motors idling on the warm taramac. The configuration for Coalina will also help prevent this from happening.

yea it was pretty high up. It's pretty much like a 1/4 mile track where you wait in a line until you're up lol. It should be cold up north esp during that time, I don't think too much heat soak will be a problem.

Even on a relatively cool day - like we had a Trona - the sun heats up the black taramac to well over 100 deg. So the air sucked in by the cars is warmer than ambient. Idling for 15-20 minutes and creeping forward slowly causes the heat soak on things like intercoolers, intakes, coolant fluids, etc. It may be inevitable to some extent.

Yea, I see that happening while sitting for 30 minutes in a line lol. We'll see how it goes tho.

20 days and counting. How's the car coming along Sticky?

I'm at 543 on 91 octane @ 5.0 psi at the moment. The low boost is odd but the power is good. I'll start a build thread as soon as dyno next week on 100 octane.

Yessir, FWD lol. Not exactly sure yet haven't finished tuning on e47, I will dyno next week after I get new axles put in. As it sits right now 24 psi conservative file on e47 somewhere around 400-420whp. For the event I'll have a special 29 psi tune hopefully 450whp+? 2900 lbs not with my fatass in it though haha. 3100 with me Click here to enlarge

Nice with 450 FWHP @ 3,100 lbs you should try some of the GT-R's. Do you get traction anywhere between a 35-50 mph start? That's the speed most of the roll-ons start at.

Yea, I'm aiming for the GTRs as well. I want to see how well I do against a SC m3 and the single turbo 335. Although I know I don't have a chance. My weight helps me out a lot. No traction in second gear. Most likely will be doing some 3rd gear pulls at 50 mph. The other FBO 335's I'll give them a chance and I'll start in second. I got no traction there Click here to enlarge.

Sure why not. I have a feeling I'm gonna get smoked by others in the 600 HP group. I'm definitely the lowest-boost e9X M3 at the event. I'm at 5, Joe is at 7.8, The Arkym M3 is at 9-10, Drew is at 12 and Sticky is at 25 lol.

LOL still you have impressive numbers with the psi you're at. Sticky's car don't think will be going all out at the event. I'm sure he'll prob be around 18 psi or so. Still is a $#@!load. I haven't heard much about drews car after the clutch packs.

20 days and counting. How's the car coming along Sticky?

I'm at 543 on 91 octane @ 5.0 psi at the moment. The low boost is odd but the power is good. I'll start a build thread as soon as dyno next week on 100 octane.
They haven't communicated anything to me which I assume is not a good sign.
