Max Psi first customer car install under way.

Today I stopped by Max Psi to pick up my car when I seen a very nice looking e46 m3. When I asked Mike whats going on with that car. He said that will be the the first customer car getting their DME tuned Turbo kit.

Customer is getting the aluminum not plastic plenum?

This is a very nice development, much respect to Max PSI and Nick G if they pull it off.

All of the kits will come with our aluminum plenum. It is the same one on our car in the other thread The piping and plenum will be wrinkle black powdercoat like my e46 unless it is specified otherwise.

    Good question.

What about multiple maps with a flash loader?

ill be ready to do an e85 tune and/or swap out the intake and exhaust mani because im trying to figure out what the hinderance is in the hpf kit. whether its in the tune, the hardware or both.
but as it is dme tuned and unable to have multiple fuel maps id like to have e85 tune if possible as you need multiple fuel maps to run a street car on high boost unless you run e85 only.

An e85 tune is physically possible, however the variation in ethanol content makes it unsafe to just "throw it in the tank" and run it. There is a big difference I in fuel demand and ignition timing for E65 vs E90. It would be asking for trouble without an ethanol sensor.

what about tuning with e98/e100 after preparing the fuel system for ethanol? (sensors, injectors, fuel lines, etc)
