    The only Lexus application on ProEFI's website is the IS300, but you could prob do a custom ProEFI setup (albeit, more expensive)

    I heard the same thing. Lots of potential in that platform as I hear the motor is not being pushed very hard from the factory and should be built pretty strong as it was a skunkworks project (plus its a big V8 and the heads should flow quite well). It also already runs DI+PI injection.

    @undercoverangie

    I'm curious, with the ProEFI handling the engine and the N54 DME handling the rest, what is stopping anyone from using a ProEFI with a motor swap? I realize the software might have to be different. But if the ProEFI/BMW 'glue' is known, what's to stop the ProEFI from controlling a different engine that already has ProEFI support (like this Toyota engine I hear people like to use once in a while). that's pretty incredible

    so as long as it's an engine that will work with proEFI. you should be able to keep your DME for all your 'comfort' items still working... and put in whatever engine the ProEFI can run?

    that's damn cool.

    That's awesome. I figured as much, just never popped in my head.

    So buying a N54 car with a blown motor at a car auction might be interesting.

    If I was to swap a engine, I wouldn't pick a 335 chassis....

    That said I would love a e36 m3 with a LS motor...
