Haha no shot, Rex will start Sanchez again. Adding insult to injury was how his contract got extended back in March....
The deal includes $20.5 million in guarantees for 2012 and 2013 and $40.5 million in "new" money, bringing his total over five years to $58.25 million, according to sources. He can make an additional $10 million in escalators.
The $58.25 million gives Sanchez the seventh-highest financial package among NFL quarterbacks, sources told ESPN senior NFL analyst Chris Mortensen.

After the Broncos won Manning/Jets didn't get him, they needed to lock up a QB. For whatever reason, they thought Sanchez was "their guy"

Why did they even get Tebow if they won't play him? What's the point?

He was listed as "inactive" because of a rib injury. Honestly I think they just picked up Tebow to sell some tix & generate revenue

Well the guy should at least get a chance if Sanchez stinks but I think the coaches are scared he might do well and make them look stupid for saying he shouldn't play.

Prob true, it's exactly what happened last year with the Broncos -- Orton was the starting QB & Tebow was 2nd string; after Orton went 1-4 the Broncos finally decided to give Tebow a chance to start Week 7; rest of the season Broncos went 8-5 (including playoffs).

I'm guessing it's a combination of the financial commitment the Jets made by extending Sanchez & fear that Tebow might be more effective with their offense. At this point they should be trying everything with all the injuries (Revis, Mangold, Cromartie, Keller just got injured in yesterday's game)

Exactly they should at least give him a start considering they brought him in. They brought him in to block for punts? WTF? What a nightmare scenario for him.

They completely $#@!ed him -- He joins the team & they tell him to pack on an additional 25 lbs cause he'll be used any way the see fit (Wildcat QB, RB, Special Teams, blah blah). Then Sanchez starts suckin D & the big money starters go down like $#@!es. Tebow was already a monstrous dude as a QB & the killed his mobility by turning him into a WWE wrestler. #CoachingFail, which is a shame because I actually like Rex Ryan, he's just been making $#@! calls as coach

I hate to say it but Rex should be gone. I like him, but he has $#@!ed up way too much the last two seasons.

@Sticky, man you and I both had unexpected picks the past two weeks. I think predictions are becoming harder as lots of teams are looking for a chance to get into the playoff race.

How in the world did the Redskins beat the Giants. I also couldn't understand how the Ravens lost to the Steelers. It is going to be very interesting.

I had the right idea in so many games and then something goes wrong... Detroit just keeps killing me. Also didn't think the Steelers would win in Baltimore with a 90 year old quarterback and a crappy running game.

Ok. The Redskins are officially now a team that can cause problems in the NFC. RG3 is just plain sick.

@KB, your Colts were amazing. Andrew Luck is da 5hit

Did any of you guys catch the New England vs Houston game. Tom Brady and the paitriots just showed absolute dominance. They completely destroyed the Texans. Who do you think can stop them in the playoffs?

Looks like they will have home field division game advantage!

Tell me about it man. 49ers beat the Paitriots last week and this week they got raped by the Seahawks. The league is full of surprises

I'm leaning towards that as well didn't think he was the real deal, do now. Way better than Kapernick.
