Fairly simply fix, just need to shorten the arm on the actuator a little.
I was wondering if anyone was going to notice that. Yes we do plan on getting the factory actuators to work on the Garretts. Keeps things simple for all the tuners if we can retain vacuum actuated boost control, even if it is a little more work in the beginning.

We were thinking equal length, but I think we have decided on a cast log manifold for reliability and with a properly built log manifold you get more than adequate flow. We may still entertain both. Both right now its looking log.

As long as you're not trying for a super high concentration of ethanol on worn and tired LPFPs then fueling isn't an issue.

Log style will be the easiest and should work fine, that is my suggestion but you obviously know more than me.

Probably spool faster and will definitively take up a ton less space. I don't even know if you can fit a true equal length.

There are 1000+whp cars that use logs with no problem...

Exactly, equal length fitment + amount of time to fab negate any small benefits in our opinion.

I had seen the bracket in that picture, but I didnt put two and two together lol. Considering I think ive done more turbo swaps than any single person perhaps (15 and counting), you would have thought I would recognize that lol.

Stage 3 progress is looking good. You may want to ponder the Garrett internal gates and wear rates they may endure in the vacuum operated/always open environment. MHI had massive fail in that area obviously and I cant see Garrett being any better especially as they werent designed with that in mind. Just tossing it out there.

If you get Stage 3 to install cleanly I'll likely take a kit myself.

Super good point Rob and I was thinking about that myself. The only way to really know is to run them and see unfortunately. The flappers look pretty stout and are high quality I did some inspecting after having that thought. I guess just keep our fingers crossed and cross that bridge if we get to it.
