Updated Gintani version 2.0 M3 S65 supercharger kit

Not sure on all the details on this but the manifold is updated and I think they may have switched the blower as well. It will now finally be a true "kit" with installation instructions and a flash cable. This should have happened a long time ago but nice to finally see it.

Here's the 1st gen Gintani manifold (think they realized that it wasn't getting the same airflow of some of the competition)
    Attachment 20956

The new one looks a lot like the VF manifold, has that OEM styling influence

I don't think there were any manifold concerns considering the performance the old kits put up. I think they redesigned for pricing and make it easier to sell as a kit more than anything else.

I think this is a different blower with their own specifications for their needs and also possibly self-contained.

    Cool.

What does the cf piece do? What is it? I always wondered about what does it do.

Manifold looks better being a basic copy of the BMW design; although a slightly modified one that is more aggressive might be cool and in-theme. I never liked the original Gintani manifold from a visual-design perspective. I just thought they could have done a better job in that area.

I think the CF cover is a nice option also. I think they will sell quite a few of those.

Very Nice. I would still get the upcoming EVOLVE SC kit (From a customer service perspective).

I DO love Gintani products though.

That carbon fibre cover looks to be more than just a cover. It has a function...

Notice it is connected to the scoops. It looks more like a very slim profile airbox leading air to the intake of the supercharger/filter.

    I might be wrong!

You are wrong on this one, it's just cosmetic. I always ran without my cover.

When I was looking at it, I thought it had a function too! That would have been pretty cool.

The new manifold definitely does look nice....but wowza, look at those Stage 3 numbers! Click here to enlarge

    Hello everyone,

First off we would like to thank you for all your comments. We are proud to finally announce this will be a full DIY kit with instructions and flash cable.
Yes you guys are very right this should have been done a long time ago but hey better late then never. There have been a lot of changes in our company
for the better in that last several months and we will be doing a lot of changes going forward. The new manifold is a lot bigger than our earlier model and
we have still managed to keep our long runner length and large air to liquid core. We are expecting some HP&TQ gains with the new setup we will keep you
guys posted once we start testing. As for the carbon piece, it is fully functional and connects to the front scoops and top of the air box for air flow to
the filter there is also another tube that connects to the side of the air box and goes down into the front bumper not shown in the picture. Now about the
Stage 3 we will be posting few videos and dyno's very soon we have gone back and changed some things with the setups and we will also share all that
information when the projects are complete. The dyno graph shown for the stage 3 is just the beginning. We all here at Gintani are look forward to 2013
we are hoping to make a very big impact on the S65/S85 Market.

P.S Sticky you will be getting the new manifold and we are working our ass off to get this car done for the event....Click here to enlarge

    Thank you
    Gintani team.....
