    VAC Motorsports | VAC 4.4 S65 Stroker Kit Build (CP, Carrillo, Darton, Schrick)

    Hey guys, we are wrapping up another stroker and I managed to snap some pics this time Click here to enlarge We should be setting it up on the engine dyno in the next few weeks....there will be a vid. More soon!

    _VAC 4.4 stroker kit

    That would be sick.. and since you love the MT, all the benefits and none of the drawbacks.


    I wanna be around when this gets put on the dyno. Ive never seen an engine dyno put to work in person before

    We'll see , right now the plan is to get the new m in 4 years, if it sucks though, I'll pick up a 11" e92 and have some fun with it....

    I'm liking where your heads at, except I don't even wanna bother with the new M. The V8 is an eargasm when you start hammering it & after the N54, I think it's time to try something non-turbo'd

    I hear you but the v8 m isn't fast enough, compared to other cars on the road now and tuned n54's. Supercharger changes things but I will buy a used Porsche 911 before spending money on a blown e9x m

    I'm anxious to see the dyno results from this stroker build

    (In a perfect world) I'd get an E92 M3, strap an Evolve Valve'd Exhaust & either the Evolve S/C or VF620. From there make a few exterior mods & enjoy. I love the power turbos give (especially the TQ), but it seems like there's a lot more headaches when compared against supercharged engines.

    It's a different kind of power delivery. I find the M3 V8 more exciting than the Porsche turbo 6. I like screaming to redline with the awesome V8 sound. Plus rear wheel drive is more fun.

    In a perfect world I'd have a built motor S65 M3 V8 with a built trans and huge blower terrorizing the streets. Well I do but I'd like for it not be such a big pain in the ass to get it to that level.

    This engine has been done for months, but for a billion reasons (not VAC's fault) we finally have this bad boy on the dyno.

    mild cams
    100 octane

    built for 24hour endurance race.

    If we were building this for sprint racing (higher compression, aggressive cams, more octane, OMG.) That will be next Click here to enlarge

    We hit peak power at 8200 - power drops off pretty good after that.

    Peak TQ at 5900 - TQ stayed pretty consistent till 7500 or so.

    Sticky - this will prob not go on a chassis dyno any time soon - its going into an e46 GTR enduro car then it will be raced.

    We tune MOTEC, Pectel, Life Racing, VIPEC etc.

    We will have vids in a few days hopefully. These are very mild cams, no drama at idle.
