I feel bad, I have a picture from a couple years ago where I hooked him in the cheek somewhere. It's all part of the game though. My dad has been a fisherman as an occupation for 30+years. He's had to push hooks through his knuckles, had gaffs go in his legs. I think everybody in my house has had a hook in them at some point.

Some pictures to keep this going.

This was a 14-15ft Mako. I took this picture from the tower, a good 30ft above the water. This was 12 miles off shore of Palm Beach.

These are two baby Lemon Sharks. This was last year, can't remember if it was in the Turks and Caicos or The Exumas, Bahamas.

This does not sound like fun.

That's cool! I wish I wasn't the only one in my family who goes fishing. Dad with a boat sounds great.

Snagged this 500lb Marlin on my honeymoon, took about 2 hours to get in, died during the fight because the line wrapped around its tale.

They look like triploids. They will put a bend in your rod regardless!

Oncorhynchus mykiss is a spring spawner.

The largest rainbows you could never touch with a worm by the way as they are entirely piscivorous (fish-eaters). Fly-fishing with streamers will most definitely reap large rewards.

Looks like a black marlin? If so, they make delicious sushi!

    How was it?

Blue Marlin, hard to tell because it had been in the boat for awhile at that time, not to mention the pic is in the shade. Didnt eat any, Capt of the charter took it to market. They normally catch and release Marlin (St Lucia), but because of the circumstances we had no choice.

Went out last Thursday to catch some live bait because my dad was leaving Friday to go to the Bahamas. We decided to go offshore and drop a couple lines while we were out. Nothing big, but caught 2 cobias, 2 muttons, and a banded rudderfish. Not bad for an hour of fishing. I think we're going out again this week so hopefully I can get pictures of more exciting fish lol

Here are a few from the past month.

Locally we've been catching a lot nice yellowtails and muttons.

My dad has a few number where this is a medium sized yellow eye. The tide has to be just right though.

This was my last trip before starting my fall semester. 12 yellow fins, and 20 dolphin (Not Photoed). Nothing huge, biggest tuna was probably 40lbs and the dolphin were probably 10-15lbs. It was a good way to end the summer, and probably the end of the yellowfins down here until next spring.

    Great set of pics man!

The picture with the big red fish kind of makes the fish look like "Why are you touching my ass?"

I need to go sea fishing stat!
