A new weapon to kill someone you don't like

Just put a little amount of this pepper in his/her food.

Looks harmless. Well it doesn't but it can't do much, can it? It's called Bih Jolokia. Has many other names like the ghost pepper and such. I call it the killer pepper. And my god it's nasty. It's the devil himself in a food form. Pure fire, period. To give you an idea about this little bomb, Tabasco red pepper sauce in Scoville scale rates at 5000. This pepper rates at more than 1,000,000! This $#@! is really insane.

I've used those when cooking and I can tell you that you better wear rubber gloves cause the oil stays on your hands for days. I rubbed my nose after handling one a while back and almost had to goto the emergency room! Nasty little $#@!ers.

What did you cook that needed this? Poison? lol. Kidding aside, from what i've heard in India they used to make poison from this specific pepper.

Curry. But I only used a small amount of the pepper - baked it to try and cook some of the heat out then pressed it through a sive. About 50 grams total and it made a curry for 8 people that was the hottest thing I've ever tasted. Fantastic....but almost too hot you couldn't eat it.

Yeah - got the recipe from a friends Indian nanny who lives in London and she always makes it when I'm there. Blow your head off is right (not to mention your ass) lol

Heres the recipe:

3 pounds boneless skinless chicken breast and thighs, cubed

1 tsp turmeric
2 tsp ginger
5 gloves garlic, minced
1 cup onions, diced
1 large tomato, diced
1 Tsp cumin, toasted and ground
1 Tsp coriander, toasted and ground
2 tsp salt (or to taste)
1 Tsp lemon juice
1 Tsp mustard seed (black)
1 tsp red pepper (or to taste)
.5 tsp cinnamon, freshly ground
3 curry leaves plus stems
1 ghost pepper roasted and pressed

2 cups Basmati Rice

Brown chicken in veg oil, transfer to large cast iron pot, add all ingredients to pot and simmer over low heat for 3 hours

We should set the Pepper Spray world on fire (literally) and make this stuff into a new pepper spray for self defense...

haha, reminds me of the time i thought it would be a good idea to saute some jalepenos and habanero peppers for an omelette. Didnt bother me that bad (i eat spicy food all the time) but my fiance was coughing, sneezing, eyes watering - i basically pepper sprayed her. I also didnt wear gloves, and rubbed my eye a day or two later... hurt like hell!

100%. If you ate one raw your throat would close and you'd probably suffocate. Not to mention if you didn't suffocate your $#@! would fall out.

Good. You have to go for a sandwich.

Fat Sandy or Fat Daddy for me. It's gross unless you have the drunken munchies.
