    Thumbs up JAWS M3 E46 PX600 Supercharger kit - Dyno numbers

    11 hrs to dyno , will dyno our first project car (Prototype 1) we used to develope this kit and also dyno the bone stock SMG version we will start build this week and who will be the official JAWS PX600.

    We allready made 8,79 60-130 with more to improve!

    Time to put the ink on paper and show what u guys can expect from the kit your buying.

    Check out this thread in the next 14hrs or so for detailed info.

    Yes, there is a reason why we dont..it looks nasty haha, on this build we are doing now on the SMG version we document alot for the manual! , we did some changes as well on the design...well i can give u a "in build" picture...

    I will try to give u more pictures tonight, we are building IC system now on this SMG version and we do a little change to the intake manifold to even out the air better, also there is some slight changes that need to add just bcs of the SMG, more clearance needed under IM and re-routing of the smg oil tank (replacing it with one from CSL)

    Since the software are done there is "just" some hardware job and we are planing to have the car running by friday! Click here to enlarge

    We had some slight delay in intercooler building for this car due to missing pipes, they are now ordered and coming tomorrow thursday!

    Well...we have seen some diffrent versions on the market, some good some $#@!, so we made a solid bracket, we also try to do as much "oem" fitting as possible, the idle motor for ex connects with its std fitting on our intake manifold, we also choose to use a big BOV since the smaller once tend to surge and cause un even pressure in the manifold that likes to play games on afr when the car is in closed loop...

    Our strategy is also to minimize pressure drop as much as possible, so therefore we choose 3" charge pipes and a 4" thick intercooler thats made to fill the whole intake area of the front bumper.

    Air filter is direct placed on the supercharger and a 3,5" hose and pipe will force air to it.

    More pictures and aspec will come!

    JAWS Motorsport PX600 E46 M3 S54 supercharger kit hits 539 wheel horsepower and runs 8.79 second 60-130

    JAWS Motorsport has been hard at work on their E46 M3 S54 supercharger kit. They recently posted details and performance numbers from their kit. On their Dynomite dyno they hit 529 wheel horsepower at 12 psi of boost. A stock SMG M3 with an aftermarket muffler hit 307 wheel horsepower on this same dyno. The M3 clearly gains a lot of horsepower with this kit but the proof is in the 60-130 mile per hour sprint of 8.79 seconds which is just phenomenal.

    The kit is is still being finalized so please keep that in mind when viewing the pictures below.

    I will need to do a input here right away, we did a change after dynoing the car, both deatschwerks DW300 intank and TRE255 intank fail to deliver past 600 crank hp at 6bar, both pumps are very nice and delivers fuel, but when starting at 5 bar of fuel pressure and adding boost we really needed something more beefy like a Bosch Motorsport fuelpump, and after installing that pressure doesnt drop after 7200rpm any more as it did in the dyno and on the road full boost 7200rpm+ on 4-5th gear.

    So we will send a Bosch Motorsport fuel pump with every kit.

    that paxton blower is identical to the vortech v3, im guessing they are the same unit named different for each company?? same specs, everything....

    such an impressive kit, really nice to see some high HP s/c kits still in the market.... Whats the general feeling on running 10psi + on a stock s54???

    We were going after Rotrex first, but after studying compressor maps and so on we found it shouldnt be as effective as we needed, we have sold ESS kits in the past and we know the Vortech charger works really well, didnt wanna step on any toes so we looked for other brand and by a coincident i found Paxton and start looking on those..contacted them and voila they told me they had a indentical unit like the V3Si...done deal we signed up to deal with them Click here to enlarge
