Got stung by a bee for the first time AKA I was raped by a bee

To begin I have never been stung by a bee before.

Well, I decided to go hiking today as it's simply a gorgeous day out. So I'm hiking along happily listening to music when a text from @Jake@Eurocharged.com comes in. I see what it is and stop to look at it. As I'm staring at my phone I stopped for a bit and eventually feel something on my ankle.

I look down and it's a bee. Before I shake it off I feel a quick sharp pain that intensifies. I see the bee quickly fly off my ankle and I notice a small black thing sticking out slightly and my ankle is getting red around it. It hurt more than I thought it would and started to swell. A tiny bit of blood trickled out.

Now I thought bees die after they sting you. Well this $#@!ing bee from hell keeps flying at me and sort of running into me all over. It's moving so fast I can't see it I just keep hearing the buzzing. I hear it sort of coming from behind me and I realize it's on the back of my shirt plotting whatever it is planning to do next. I have never been stung and am kind of surprised at the pain as this all just happened quickly and I just take off running away from this thing while smacking my back to get it off thinking it will get me again although I didn't think it through that it couldn't as it just used it's stinger on me. I get it off BUT THE $#@!ER FOLLOWS ME!

For some reason this bee just had a personal problem with me.

I'm in full sprint and somehow it's keeping up. I start swinging my arms with my headhones and iphone in them at this thing and just keep running. Finally after I'm out of breath I hear no more buzzing and stop only to notice I lost a shoe somewhere. I must have been about a 1/4 mile or so from where this started. I have no idea at what point I lost my shoe.

I start backtracking but am afraid the bee will tell all its bee friends. If 1 bee can do this much damage I'm honestly afraid of a swam. I can totally see how a swam of bees could really $#@! a person up badly. I backtrack and can't find my shoe. I lost it somewhere in all the brush and search for it but can't find it. I give up as with my luck I'd probably run into a rattlesnake next.

So I hike back home with one shoe on and get a hole in my sock and splinters in my foot. It's hot as hell out and the ground is hot so I burn my foot a bit.

$#@! bees. $#@! nature. $#@! the people who think you shouldn't kill things in nature because every animal, plant, and insect loves you. $#@! Dreamworks for making a movie that made Bees seem like they are friendly things that just want to fly around and make honey. This thing wanted to kill me. It was out for my blood. $#@! BEES. $#@! THEM.

Maybe it was an African Killer Bee? They can be more aggressive. Or perhaps some type of hybrid.

I remember when I was like 10-yrs-old, I had never been stung by a bee. I was outside playing catch with a tennis ball. I go to pick up the ball and I got stung by a bee, cause it was on the ball. I remember feeling so interested that I finally got stung by a bee. It hurt a little bit, but no biggy.

This could not be regular bee. It was bigger and just seemed super, super aggressive. It was big, it was fast. The bees in my backyard are nothing like this.

The amount of pain was surprising from something relatively small. I mean it has subsided now and the swelling is already just about gone but 10 stings like this at the same time... it wouldn't be pretty.

The pic I have of it is blurry and now that the swelling is gone it doesn't even look like anything happened.

I can imagine. Some of these bees don't play. They do seem to be more aggressive. I've been chased by a few before.

No, as I removed the stinger. I thought maybe it could be a wasp or something as it had a good size and didn't seem to be afraid of me at all. The $#@!ing thing instigated.

    Funny.

But seriously, it was a more aggressive and larger bee. They should eliminate this string of bees.
