Time lapse Active Autowerke Level I E9X M3 S65 V8 supercharger kit install video and dyno numbers

We really like to see time lapse videos like this which show all the parts in a supercharger kit and the installation process. Goes to show it takes a bit of work to install one of these but that someone with mechanical skill can do it themselves as well. This is a level I kit which is not the most powerful kit Active offers. Mustang dyno numbers for the car in the video were 317 wheel horsepower stock and 345 with bolt ons.

With the supercharger? It put down 438 wheel horsepower. A fairly nice gain for only 5.5 psi of boost from the HKS GTS8550 supercharger.

Nice gains for sure.. The s54 with headers and a tune gets past those base numbers doesn't it?

Active is a solid kit. To this day, @akh23456 car is still the smoothest complete M ive driven thus far. Im not sure if its because its and E90, or the AA kit. Everything about it is as though it is OEM quality still, after thousands of hard miles

    I really don't think so.

My car had a baseline in the 34X range. It would take an S54 with everything and then some to even approach that.

317whp is definitely achievable with headers and tune on certain dynos. Depending on the dyno and conditions, could vary results as well. Mustang Dynos are known to be incredibly conservative reading compared to DynoJet and Dyno Dynamics. So it's a pretty moot point comparing overall numbers from dyno to dyno.

A friend of mine recently put down 318whp with SS Stepped Headers, 3" MidPipe, and Evolve Tune, all on a very conservative Dyno Dynamics in 90+ F heat. On a DynoJet in optimal conditions, he could have easily broke over 320whp.

Thanks Andrew. Your Mustang definitely reads conservatively.

What does a stock S54 put down? 250's?
