    Is there an aftermarket hpfp

My hpfp failed and I don't think BMW has fix for it. Is there an aftermarket fix?

None that are known...Or that have been released so far..

Supposedly the new model BMW fuel pumps are better...You should have a 10yr/120k warranty for fuel pump...are you still within that warranty period?

Seems like it's been fixed, the latest pump and latest software(that primes the system when unlocking the car) has done the trick. The hpfp issues seem to have disappeared.

any. well it's much more isolated these days. i'm sure you remember how rampant it was in the past, I myself went through 3, first lasted a while, but the second pump (got it near doing upp'd turbos) lasted a few days (as said above, not priming, no software for it out at the time), third is still working fine. yeah, today, you only hear of this case or that one... LM for instance never has an issue. but yeah i don't think the amount of power/load is a factor.

The latest revision (the infamous "1M HPFP") seems to work fine, with the latest software revisions.

I have a 2011 335IS and the hpfp is not covered under the 10k warranty

At any power level, the hpfp seems to be lasting much much longer. I wouldn't worry about it. It's also a pretty cheap part.

Still on my original HPFP - early '07 build. Thats with FBO and running 50:50 E85. From everything ive read and heard the 1M "high Pressure exchange pump" is solid.

13 51 7 616 170 Exchange high pressure fuel pump, $322.89 retail, $258.31 at getbmwparts.com. Looks like the ETK shows the 1M pump now supercedes all other versions.
