No, you can not. You will be able to when the new programming for the rep system is completed to prevent you and GG from abusing it.

What about the smilies and ALL photos not working?

Are you really trying to run me off?

I don't know why the photos and smilies aren't working for you. It may be because you have negative rep but I don't think that is it. Did you try it with another browser as I asked? Please clear your cache as well.

It isn't a big deal, I really need to know if you tried a different browser or not though. If there are any issues with the site I need to fix them ASAP.

    OP handed over 3k dollars

Now think about it. Does that seem like a easy target? Does the OP sound like a "sucker" as soon as he walked in the shop? Take a look at post 54

    http://forums.bimmerforums.com/forum...1483913&page=3

I quoted it as well.. Sounds to me the whole shop was laughing at this easy basket case. Come on sticky... Is that proffessional? That sounds like a typical customer at any shop. Thats something I would expect from a jiffy lube, not a proffesional performance shop....
    Yeah,
to imagine all the thugs hanging out at ICS (slinging & sceming)
and making fun of this guys car.

    Good insight Capn.

how does a dirty car give a shop any value to try to reason away this customer's claims
    of ILL workmanship and inability
(all alleged claims of damaging partsaside)
    documented with photos.

    BTW,
    what was done for $3000??
Did I miss the work that was done.

What was the reasoning given for your ban? Was there a warning? I don't understand why you would be banned for this.

    guess im not alone

BBB processed a total of 5 complaints about Imported Cars of Stamford, Inc. in the last 36 months, our standard reporting period. Of the total of 5 complaints closed in 36 months, 2 were closed in the last year.

I'm curious how many folks here making negative comments about ICS have actual personal experience dealing with them? I live in Texas, I don't even know who ICS is.. and I don't really care as I do my own wrench work.. I rarely ever take my car to any shop because I have found I tend to be a better mechanic than the shops mechanics.. my attention to detail is beyond annal.

With that said though.. one thing I have noticed about message boards is 95% of the people complaining about a particular vendor have no personal experience with them. As a business owner.. when you suck at providing a service.. you go out of business. So obviously ICS has some happy customers.

I'm tot defending.. nor condoning ICS.. I just find it humorous how these forums have a way of amplifying an issue. No one vendor will have 100% happy customers.. none of them.. And according to information in this very thread.. they have a very busy shop.. so what 1%.. 2%.. 5% are unhappy??

Folks need to keep things in perspective when talking about a shop that does high volume...

i dealt with then personally and i understand that your not gonna make all your customers happy but these guys really mess up i mean they had the car for 2 months, they broke a handful of parts, put the wrong dipstick in my car, broke a lcab and did not tell me anything about it... the list goes on and on and im not the only one the screw up.... but they try to sensor the complaints against ICS.... 2 months ago when i did some research on ICS, all i found was good feedback about then, i'm just here sharing my experience with everyone so if someone is looking to service their car they can see the good and the bad

I dont care how busy a shop is if you break someone's lcab or you know is broken you should let the customer know.. did you see the picture of the bushing? it was gone no bushing at all. Does being busy justified putting someone's life in danger, breaking a dipstick and putting the wrong one in there, and in 2 months no matter how busy you are the car should had been fixed properly is not 2 weeks or 2 days is 2 months... 3k for a poorly done supercharger install $450 for a poor quality oil catch can these guys are crooks you can see it from far

shouldn't a high volume repair shop have more than 3 mechanics ? 10 bays Vs 3 Mechanics

This customer said he did his homework about the shop.
This customer had no prior knowledge of shop misconduct.

Well, we hear arguably far more bad things about RMS and even VF to a dgree.

If the customer did his homework how is he in this predicament? This car was not healthy and it seems some people are portraying the guy in question as a sucker. I don't know if I agree with that but there is plenty of evidence of the car needing a lot of work.

i mean i did not spend hours and hours online looking for bad remarks about ICS i logged into e46 fanactics saw good feedback, logged in to bimmerforums i saw something bad and something good, i thought to myself the good out balanced the bad on to ICS, all the work they say the car needed was cosmetic what does a dent on the door have to do with the EML light on or even the state the engine is in? what does the door panels not loose have to do with 10 boost leaks? i don't know how a dent could make the car run like crap i did not bring the car in for body work i brought it in for mechanical work.. think about and notice how ICS wanted me to bring the car back to then, they know they screwed up
