That zl1 is a joke, 112 traps? a regular 5.0 with a good drive will clean that $#@! up. Hell I ran 12.64 at 112 bone stock at that very track in my 5.0

should be doing MUCH better than my heavy ass caddy did (12.1@116.8) at the SAME track. but like they said...either the extreme heat or the driver was prob the issue

Heat my ass guys, the gt500 trapped 124 and went 11.6, it seems to be doing just fine. This is not the first time I have seen a zl1 trap and run like $#@!. There are private videos all over and they are all trapping 111-114, the car is a failure.

Every test I have seen has been around 122-125, it is a heavy car with long as gearing. A tune and xpipe and the car will hit 130 though lol.
The failboat on the other hand, overheats stock and has a hard time laping around a track without going into limp mode....you know with all its handling advantages and all, it still gets beat by a stock civic after 5 laps. God I hate the hype over that pos.

Im not near 120. I am at 117, 118 once in a blue moon, but usually 116-117. If i had to guess I am right around 400-420whp. The new shelby I believe is 38-3900 lbs? make 590ish stock and has REALLY long gearing. I think you get past 60 in the 1st gear, but I could be wrong. Shiv went 130 with probabaly 700-800 lbs less weight and 50-60 more whp.

In all seriousness... I would get the GT500 throw on some convex staggered 20" wheels/tires and coilovers for the right stance. I would add in a Borla cutback exhaust and I would drive the $#@! out of it as it sat. 11.61@124 on a humid day in the upper 80's to low 90's on temp. Yep thats a beast. @Blaizon we need to work that out pronto

I wouldn't do anything that voided the warranty... If for instance FRPP puts out headers that when dealer installed don't void the warranty then yes. But anything that voids the warranty I wouldn't do...

My view for the car is that with that much power simple mods will yield silly power. The FRPP Power Pack should roll out soon and should feature headers/exhaust/cold air and a tune). Though its all subject to change, in any case thats still being called another 65-80hp at the crank from what I hear. That with the stance and wheel/tire pkg will keep me damn happy for sure. Plus a back seat for the puppy LOL

You don't buy a high hp mod platform to worry about the warranty. You buy it to tune that $#@! up and rape everything in sight.

ZL1 is such a failure, chevy fanb0iz are probably so butthurt. That car is a generation too slow.

So we're saying that a chipped 135 with downpipes is faster than the ZL1? FAIL
