We can arrange it at your preferred time and dyno schedule at any time after the group buy closes. This is just to reserve your spot in the queue and grab a great deal.

Congrats dzenno. I'm glad you are able to start a business doing something you are passionate about. Not many people get that opportunity. I love being an entrepreneur myself. Now I just need to get a Cobb AP to take advantage of your skills!

    Hey Guys -

Me and Dzenan met on a star speckled night at Niagra Falls. Him on the Canadian side, me on the American side...lol

Anyways - we are really excited to be starting this venture and this group buy will hopefully be as fun for you guys as it will be for us. The best part about being in this position is we still have that passion and momentum as enthusiasts. I've been tuning on other platforms for a pretty long time (professionally and as a hobby) and am excited that this platform has so much to offer.

For the guys in the mid atlantic and tristate area I am MORE than happy to provide tuning services at a dyno location or instant transport to Mexico roads. I am located in Maryland just outside DC. Through this group buy if there are a collective of guys who can organize something through this group buy - I would be more than happy to come up and make a weekend of it. In my Mazdaspeed days I used to come up and we'd get through a handful of cars one day and hit the dyno the next day. I just really enjoy seeing people enjoy there car more at a hp to dollar ratio even I can stomach!!

I look forward to working with you guys.

Thanks brother. There are plenty of great vendors providing Cobb AP handhelds at great prices local to both Jake and myself. We can always supply a new unit for anyone interested if so desired.

That's an interesting question. I don't see why the price would be any different than what we advertise today. However, there would obviously be travel costs involved. I'm usually down there every summer except this one Click here to enlarge i usually land somewhere in France, Spain or Germany, grab a car and the do a road trip down to Bosnia. Those are beyond fun.

When it comes to the N54 we've had some experience with pump+E85 mixes so far. Jake's also ran it on his N54. We are eagerly awaiting Cobb's research on alternate fuels to be completed so that we don't have to depend on fuel trims and be able to run possibly 100% E85 (provided stock fuel system hardware holds up over time).

Hey dz, are you willing to create a custom tune using Cobb's most aggressive pump gas OTS map as a starting point (S2+FMIC Aggressive)? I'm curious to know what kind of benefits we would see since the OTS map is already quite strong.

What dyno shop are you going to work with? I'm local.

Hey @nitehawk ...that is actually exactly the procedure we follow. We start with the OTS map you are currently running, obtain a baseline as a starting poing and then customize from there. This is what we demonstrated in Andy1991's custom tuning a couple days back, not sure if you had a chance to see it. The immediate benefit we have is our good 94 octane.

As for shops in our area, for 4WD cars we go to Magnus Motorsports on their 424x dynojet. For RWD we either hit Champion Motors in Scarborough or TAG Racecraft in Oakville.

Jake will have his own local dyno contacts in his area obviously for those near him.
