Some people live long, meaningful lives.

Other people eat shit and die.

Rotors have been warped for a while. The shimmy has been crazy...just finally got BMW to swap the fronts out completely under maintenance. What a difference. Side note: got an alignment done, too, and after 70k miles, there was almost no deviation from factory...color me impressed.

Did warped rotors cause a shimmy on the highway or braking. i'm fighting a shimmy/vibration at about 75-80mph.

Just braking. Shimmy wasn't there otherwise, but the second I pushed on the brakes, it was. Otherwise, car's solid. Shimmy at speed might be an out of round wheel, different pressures on the tires, or an alignment issue.

There is a solution for all that warping it just costs a little more if your buying your own rotor. My company does this for racing and emergency vehicle fleets.

I did a similar thing to my E46 330i rotors and BMW covered it under warranty as well.
