    Well it depends some open headers on cars sound amazing and some sound terrible. Like inline 6 engines tend to sound like raspy $#@! with open headers, V8s sound better but chevys with open headers sound the best. This M3 sounds awesome though.

    Only sounds good when it's being revved out....at idle it sounds like $#@!.

    I think that sound is due to them having a flat plane crank, different firing order than a regular V8.

    Lol the beauty of having a shop! I've done "exhaustless" tests with a variety of vehicles now. A C5 Z06 was pretty damn intense! My Z basically runs two open 3" pipes. Maybe about 5 feet of piping.

    Open headers. For me that i run the very silent Akra exhaust, this sounds like heaven.

    way too loud. mine is basically straight piped (2 resonators) but has the same sound, just at a lesser volume
