looks like a good base kit. 6-7psi? It spools like a stock turbo car..I dont hear any whoosing or see a huge surge in acceleration. It must be a pretty dope car to drive daily.

a quick DD is a relative term. we'll see what the price is and then start making some judgements.

I'm probably the least qualified person to have been given a chance to experience this car, but I did drive it a bit over memorial day weekend. The car was quick by my standards, nothing over the top, I'm sure plenty here have experience with a 450HP car. The only thing I can say is ignition started right up, idle was pegged at x RPM, car drove smooth as stock, traction control was the same DSC as always, overall was a pleasure to drive.

Things to mention were the intake filter being right where the washer reservoir would be (was deleted in this case-believe they have plans to relocate). The intake manifold (which you saw in the video) doesn't appear to be optimized for any sort of spray. I recall watching the HPF video on their then new manifold, and commenting on the benefits of having the inlet infront of cyl 1, rather than centered between cyl 3 and 4.

I also asked Nick if he ever would tune other kits hardware and he basically said no, both for time (apparently MAF based is much more time intensive) and his already commitment to MaxPSI.

440 whp is not bad for low boost but I am hoping they will offer more than that...

Still ugly. Otherwise good stuff. The grapevine told me to much trouble tuning stock DME for built engines/big power. Don't believe rumors tho.

I think the grapevine may be right or why we are sitting here at just 8 psi? The stock motor can take more than that...

20 psi on the stock dme? Why so little shown so far then?

Really? Who in their right mind would run more than ~8-9psi in the midrange of an 11.5:1 motor on 93 octane pump fuel? (and expect it to LAST)

Because we're running a stock engine with the stock compression ratio. Come on Sticky, you know better than that!

I know but it is just that we have seen a lot more from a turbo on the stock internals. I understand it is a work in progress I just want to make sure you can do more. If you say you can, I believe you.

Ok, so that's as far as you can go on 93? Will a race gas map be possible for example?
