Mounting the motor vertically instead of slanted frees a HUGE amount of space for that turbo. Do you have to install a dry sump to do that?

I imagine with a custom oil pan, dry sump wouldn't be necessary, but if you are going to make a billet pan, that is most of the expense of the dry sump anyways.

Because i think people were getting tired of seeing cookie cutter domestics running 9s... I love the show BTW huge fan, but they need to start showing up with different cars. Everyone knows what a camaro with a 350 on nitrous will run, start bringing in strange cars and combos and make the game more interesting.

They should bring some Turbo'd E46 M3's then. The guy asks for specs, and gets replied with +900whp, T71, and close to 3400 lbs weight. Everyone will be shocked with the mid 10's to low 11's result lol

Likely due to the tire and prep.

That car is badass though, 8.60's@158. Dedicated drag M3 is cool to see.

I'd love to do this show. Still, they only get to take home like $1200? That is nothing.

I cant wait to see this car get to the low 7's/high 6's. Will come soon enough. JT is careful about sorting the car.

So you know the car and owner? Can you give us more details on it?

I know him from BF.com, not in person. but he seems like a pretty righteous dude. The chassis is 6-second legal. He is really just working on the tune and bringing up boost little-by-little. I think he is only runing 20 psi on these runs. Once he gets it dialed in on big boost, Id be looking for low 7-high 6 second runs. Its a beast.
