Nice, 1.9 on stock tires. I can't wait to see if the Euro MDM makes a difference!

Just saw this post.. It was great meeting Akash and LostMarine, glad we put our differences behind us. I think we all had some misconceptions!

I love Euro MDM, car should have came like that, we get robbed in the US!

Edit: Lost Marine - I think I might have seen a PM from you on M3 post awhile back - have not answered any in over a month, please don't think I'm ignoring you, just super busy. Feel free to call me and I'm more than happy to discuss.

After hearing all these reviews about updating to the Euro MDM, I regret not ordering it when I built my car a few years ago. Click here to enlarge

You can just get it now, so it doesn't even matter.

I heard it's a pricey retrofit and having to buy modules and what not. I'm not sure if it's worth that much to me...haha.

I wish it was as "simple" as recoding the car for reasonable fee.

From what I heard it is that simple.

    It is just 'coding'.

On the E46 M3 depending on the year it's more complicated, but for e9X Mx and e6x M5/M6 it's no problem, only a software change.

Oh..hmm..I must have misunderstood some of the PMs I got.

So since my car is a 2009, how would I activate MDM if I don't have the M Button or iDrive? Would it be based off how I press the DSC Button?

    Thanks for clarifying guys!

If you don't have the M button, your car is not equipped with M-Mode/M Dynamic Traction Mode or Servotronic (assist adjustable) steering.

See this link - this was the first successful MDM retrofit: www m3post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=676825&highlight=successful+mdm

You'll have to put a period after the www because Sticky won't take me off of this stupid Guest Vendor account when I intend on doing no business on this forum.

It's the truth you can ban me if you don't like it.

I'm here on a personal capacity and am not a guest vendor.

It isn't hidden, your name says you are a guest vendor.

Regardless you are a vendor and a guest vendor you will remain.

I was planning on doing the Euro MDM update, too, but I'm not sure how often I'm going to be going to the track, living in the PNW now, where tracks are few and far between, unlike SoCal. Since it's not something I can turn on and off (US vs. Euro MDM), I'll make an on-the-spot decision on Friday.
