    Well with the JB3 you can run different maps. Sounds like this was map 0.

    There are certain maps that require a certain octane to run properly. Whether you achieve that with race gas, meth or both is up to you. Most people run map 5 or 7 depending on the mods which is completely ok for 93 octane "pump" gas. The maps above that generally require race fuel or meth. Map 1 is a custom map that you can tweak yourself.

    Nice race, If the 335i had a JB3 why run a stock 8psi map?? lol , Im pretty sure the 335i was on a higher map and pushing over 8psi, he proberly lied to save face... happens all the time.

    exactly. knowing his other mods would give an indication of how high he "could go", but if all he has is DCI or catback, then its map 3 or 5 at most,which i think is what happened
