    Modded Z06 VS Gintani STG 2 M3

2006 Z06 with fast intake, tune, and full exhaust (longtubes, no cats, corsa mufflers) vs Gintani stage 2 + and sport exhaust. vette loses traction first race, 2nd race M starts in way to high a gear but you see the torque of the Z pull away and 3rd race is finally clean, both cars get out well, the M3 aided by using MDM mode. smooth race up to 145

whats the point? nobody brought up $ again, just the outcome, and when both cars got a clean run, the bmw won Click here to enlarge for some reason someone brought amercian muscle FTW, but in actuality, like i just said, it lost, so is it really FTW?

I'll take the Z06 any day of the week over the M3, only the 2011+ model but that's just me. The z06 can be made to go faster than a SC m3 in N/A form, which is incredibly awesome IMO, and even a ZR1. Cool race though, that Z06 sounds beastly.

the vettes are a benchmark, much like the M3, everything gets compared to them (for different reasons)

but the majority of both are not modified, and most of the ones that are, are just basic intake/exhaust. So to me, to have every benefit of the M3, over a vette, and have the option to still compete, even beat a few, is a major plus to me (regardless of which S/C one may choose)

im not by any means "wealthy", and money IS a factor, but if all that means is i have to put more effort in to get what i want, then so be it

Your looks are wrong. The zo6 is one of the sexiest cars out. Feeling are for women, on a track that zo6 will mop up an m3

These are subjective points regarding looks and feel. Performance wise, this m3 has nothing to worry about.

The z06 will definitely destroy the m3 at the track, specially the 2011+ with the zr1 suspension. The m3 just has no chance. Look at the Nurburgring times. I would probably pick the m3 though with a built motor and a stage 3 SC if I has the choice, as I think it's the better overall car (4 seats n more comfortable). With no stage 3 SC, then the z06 all the way.

honest opinion, but have you driven either, z06 or s/c m3?

People said this about the GT-R and we just saw an M3 with bolt on's top one significantly around the road course.

The Nurburgring is a power track, not finesse.

The Z06 is lighter, sure, but the M3 is an incredibly good handling vehicle.

Nope. So I'll have to conclude from what others say about them. It will be easy to find and test drive a z06 but not a SC m3 Click here to enlarge. I'll have to get your honest opinion after you SC yours, and compare with a z06 if you have driven one.
