    E92 M3 ESS VT3-725 Supercharger vs. C63 Weistec Stage 2 Supercharger

Just saw this posted over on the other forum.

Drew's car is looking strong. What does a Stage 2 Weistec put down?

It is indeed strong. I think those AMG's put down 630whp or more.

LMAO thats not even funny, Drew's car walked the living $#@! out of him. Ridiculous, VT3 is definitely in my future I just need to get more info on the tranny options to have peace of mind.....I cant wait to see more results from that car.

Damn he walked that Weistec C63 hard - $#@! hurt my feelings. The DCT is a major factor here as well as the power-weight advantage the M3 enjoys, particularly with this kit. Either way, very impressive kill for the M3.

What's the M3 putting down at the wheels? How much more powerful is it than the Weistec C63?

m3 is 630ish wheel i think, the c63 has ALOT more torque so realistically it will net better 1/4 mile times due to that and the fact its near impossible to get a good launch with the DCT...but on the highway its a different story...the blower on the c63 sounds sick its very audible in the vid

Is it really 630 to the wheels? That's impressive, it's *almost* double the WHP over a stock M3; that thing must be an absolute blast to drive.

Wow Just not fair how good the m3s go with a blower. I can't wait for next gen m3 to come out and start getting modded and see how they do against these ess cars.

Good kill! I think it would be a tad closer without the passenger in the C63, I still give the nod to the M3 though. I wonder how the race would be with both running pump?

They are both on pump. The meth in the M3 is not tuned for and is simply used for suppressing IAT's, it maybe adds about 15-20whp. I think the C63 would need around >700whp to run with this M3 especially up top when it starts stretching its legs (I've seen dynos of the stage 2 and it looks like its around 640whpish).

I want to know what this ess xpipe is, I havent heard of it before..

^haha....to be really honest my main concern is the transmission. If I see more and more people able to run the SSP disks and fluid without any issues then I will seriously do it. Last thing I want to do is have a built engine and not be able to peform because of the DCT. Im doing the aquamist hfs really soon (probably be able to run the 650 kit) and hopefully see some results with that..

completely understand...my vendor told me basically motor build = new tranny....he said no way the stock tranny will stand up to over 1000ft/lbs of tq

I've got my eyes on the lookout for a 2010 997TT w/ PDK...after a couple of mods, that's as capable a candidate as any especially with AWD :-)

Can't wait to see you guys tear it up though.

Does this car have a built motor? I think the tranny is built too? Nvm, I read the build thread...the car is damn impressive.
