Its not really a built motor with boost in mind.... it has the same CR as a stock M3.

One cannot expect the same extra 15% gain, found over N/A with boost. Meaning, and stroker + SC car will not show the 15% gains it shows Vs a stock NA M3, when compared with a boosted M3 (or performance wise for that matter. He should have just gone SC from the beginning and saved $20+K....

You guys can't compare PG's boost to stock motor cars. PG's larger displacement motor running 6psi is pulling in MUCH more air than a stock motor at 6psi...

I wonder how he'd do (dyne and 60-130) if he ran 8.5-9.5 psi, like Sticky and Drew were on their stock motors.......

He ran higher boost at the Texas Mile, not sure the exact amount though. I wonder how I would do with a gutted car as well. Click here to enlarge All of my times have been done at full weight, on Street Tires, and on pump fuel or pump fuel + Meth, but I agree with Mike it's still a respectable time based on the conditions he states he was in.

FWIW I just ran a 7.58s 60-130, oddly enough the same time as PG, on 91 octane only, although I wouldn't advise anyone to do this at 9psi on stock internals. Click here to enlarge

Yeah, but you have DCT and PG MT. And PG cant shift for sh*t, if his life depended on it.....

In any case, I don't really care.... It just seems like a true comparison will never happen... ever...

Does not matter if it is same CR, built motor is built motor, NA or not NA. It is his fault he was not smart enough to think ahead.

Exactly, he made a mistake, and I agree with you stroker + high compression with boost is pointless.

He has run higher boost, he just can't run as much because he isn't using meth, his fault yet again.

I'll camp out at Autotalent or his house once my car is done, I don't care if he steps up to run or not, win/win for me either way.

I think the power difference, mainly the power under the curve, would make up for it. I hear you, we tried to run once it just wasn't in the cards. Click here to enlarge

I guess I gotta head down to AA...

Just for fun, but I think it'd be very very close based of what I experienced against tuned 997 TTs/ GTRs...
