Nice runs! Stock turbos can really perform. Click here to enlarge

Enrico sent a few of his logs over and just based on the logs I'm not quite sure why his car is under performing. Here is one where he ran JB4 only. The fuel settings and a couple things are off but AFR is close enough and advance and boost are decent. With larger turbos it should be going much faster I'd think based on the log. Click here to enlarge

Then here is another one with Cobb+JB4 using higher boost but less advance, but at this boost level it appears he picked up knock during the 4->5 shift and never recovered.

That 1st log with the JB4 could've used some more fuel, looks like he was hitting maybe 13AFR up top?

That timing being negative in 5th gear is definitely not good...which of these runs was against Big Tom? I wonder what his oil/water temps were during this time...IAT though is over 100-125F on that pull so the DME will naturally start to pull timing...the 1st run was earlier on I suppose and IATs were much better

Yeah he disabled the fuel enrichment and forgot to turn it back on when going JB4 alone. I think he only tried JB4 alone out of desperation/to try things. Normally he only uses it as a meth controller. But like I said it's in the ballpark so if it's not running fast at 17-18psi with that advance curve I wonder if there is an exhaust restriction, or maybe its the turbines/housing? As he raised boost things seemed to only get worse in the logs even with a much lower advance curve which to me points to excessive backpressure. He sent a photo of his exhaust and it looks fine although has race cats in it. He says he has the injen intake which should be fine.

PS. Tom what are your 60-130mph times? Your car seems as fast or faster than our white 135i! Click here to enlarge It runs around 8.8 on a 0% slope.

LOL if you have a VBOX it will save the run so you can view different speeds. Actually I can check ours in metric speeds too. What do you guys use? Enrico said something about 100-200kmh?

I don't have the level slope run on this PC but this one is around 1.5% slope. 7.16s 100-200kmh (It was 8.57 60-130mph). I'd guess maybe 7.3 on the level run. Also, seats are removed and no passenger. PS. I just noticed today 8 of my 9 zip ties holding up the BigTom intercooler broke! Time to find something stronger. They were supposed to be rated to 75# each. Click here to enlarge

@Terry@BMS Why is enrita's IATs above 100 when he is running meth? is it normal or was it just hot there?

Depending on his nozzle location he might just be seeing normal IAT creep. Will happen even with meth. But other than the logs I'm not that familiar with what hardware he is running these days. Maybe he can chime in on that.

enrita must have some kind of problem, taking turbos is not normal to date.

has reviewed the clutch? these types of events in the oil and watertemperature are very high and this affects the framerate, it must lowerthe level of psi and you will work much better

my car much faster at 17 psi at 20psi with the turbo rb, at 16-17 psi I can go together in a suzuki 1000r and destroy a 911 turbo 550hp

Looking at this video when Hotrod races a C63 AMG with similar mods as the one I raced makes me believe that my car would perform the same or better Vbox times as Hotrod.
But to be honest I'm not such a big fan of the Vbox hysteria, as I believes that the best comparison is made IRL head to head.

I've edited the race against the 560 hp (475 whp) Mercedes C63 AMG because the owner didn't want the licence plate to be visible.

    So here it is again:

Oh that C63 is very fast! The main reason I went to the runway event here was to race him and SIKH. But SIKH broke down on the way to the event so I only got to race the C63. I had maybe 2 cars @ 150mph on him and this is at elevation where he is at a disadvantage.

Here is a run I did against an E63 w/ same mods so you can see the C63 is much much faster:

Something definitely wrong with enrita car. Although his boost is a touch conservative. @enrita welcome to the flatline club.
