HPF Stg 2.5 1/4 Mile Results 6-11-10 @ Famoso Raceway

Just got back from the track. I think I did pretty well for my first time out and only getting in 3 runs. The MT's hook pretty well, just need to tinker a little more next time, hopefully at an event that isn't so busy.

    Best ET: 11.32 @ 136.92mph w/ a 1.997 60'

Temps were in the mid 70's on the OBC.

Here are the slips of all 3 runs:

In this weather that is freaking awesome, congrats Mike.

Basically a 137 trap which is something to be proud of. In Sac - DA you can realistically get into the 140 range.

Obviously a 10 second car with a proper 60 foot. This is even more evidence against the regular Stage 2 trapping 137+ although I don't want to take this thread OT.

Thanks Sticky, I am pretty pleased with the results considering I wasn't able to tinker with the tire pressures or rear shocks rebound and my first time back at the track in nearly 2 years.

I agree with you, on a good day at Sac, I think a 140mph trap is possible. I do have to say, I was hitting the rev limiter in 4th gear about 10-15 feet before the line, idk why I thought it would be faster than pulling a shift, but I think it affected my traps a lil. Oh well, next time I want to go to Sac! Click here to enlarge

The Sac advantage is overstated. You really need the weather on your side to see what Sac can do.

Back seats and trunk stuff is out and front seats replaced with buckets. The car used to weigh around 3150 before, but things have changed since then and I'd estimate the car weighs around 3250 at least right now.

You need to get on a human weight reduction program. I'm on the program at the moment. I'm down to 170lbs from 178lbs. Still impressive times either way. Congrats.
