    Thumbs up "EVIL BMR" S54 Z3M | 700+hp | stock DME

    Quick Specs:
    708 hp
    VAC Built S54
    VAC Stage 3 Cylinder Head
    VAC/Tilton carbon/carbon clutch

Our client looked high and low for a shop to build one of the world's baddest Z3Ms. He ended up sending his baby cross country to us for a complete S54 build, SC and tuning solution. He wanted a car that could be driven to the road course then thrashed around the circuit. Challenge: stock DME and catalytic converters were a must. With some careful tuning and 100 octane fuel we made just north of 700bhp on our Dynapack. The video does this car no justice, it sounds like Satan's chariot at WOT. It revs so fast and makes truly evil noises.

    Engine:
    Max power 708 BHP
VAC built 3.2 S54 ‘Supercharged Series’ engine with all options including:
    VAC Stage 3 Cylinder head
    VAC ported throttle bodies
    VAC Supercharger S54 cams
    Arrow Connecting Rods
    CP Pistons
VAC HP-Coated Rod and Main Bearings
    VAC Competition Oil Pump
VF- Engineering Stage 2 Supercharger kit – upgraded with over-driven crank pulley and Vortech V3 series centrifugal compressor
    Standard VF-Engineering Air/Water intercooler
Custom 2-pump Bosch Fuel system with A/N lines
VAC 60lbs injectors, Custom Fuel Rail
    VAC Oil Filter Housing Lid
    VAC Underdrive Pulleys
    Zionsville oversized Radiator/oil cooler combo
    Carbon fiber Valve Cover
    VAC Custom dyno tuning
Meisterschaft GT rear exhaust, HJS High-flow Cats, Supersprint header

    Drivetrain:
VAC Ultimate multi-plate clutch + flywheel assembly w/ Tilton carbon-carbon clutch pack
    TC-Designs Transmission cross-member
    VAC upgraded Diff bushings
    Dinan Differential

    Suspension, Chassis & Brakes:
KW Variant 3 2-way Adj. Coilovers
    Powergrid Sway bar end links
    VAC Suspension Bushings
    Upgraded Anti-roll bars
    TCK Spherical RSMs
    Weld-in Chassis reinforcements
Brembo GT Big Brake Kit front + rear

    Wheels and tires:
    19“ Fully Polished HRE Wheels
    Toyo R-Compound 235/35-ZR19 Front, 295/30-ZR19 Rear

    Exterior:
Painted in Original BMW ‘Imola Rot II’
    Hamann Vented hood
    Hamann Front Lip
    Hamann Rear wing
    Shaved OEM antenna
    HID Headlights retrofitted
reverse camera flush mounted behind license plate

20% is the typical % we use on our dynapack. We made ~570 on another pass with the 100 octane tune dialed in but I cant find the sheet. This 695hp sheet will have to do. This sheet shows a ~100k mile stock E46 M3 for comparison.

I drove in it 2x as a passenger - I was pretty scared for my life to be honest, haha. Our 10 second E92M feels like a Malibu in comparison. The wide tires and supercharged power band ensure this thing just goes.

The interior and electronics were getting some heat on Bimmerforums. It's personally not my style, but the owner is into audio as much as performance and well, he is the owner - haha. The install was perfect. ps. his Focal speakers are $6k alone....

The only time you don't get heat on BimmerForums is if you drive a BMW older than you are or an E36 that you are thinking about turboing one day.

Whenever I post on bimmerforums I feel the record skips and everyone looks at me. There are some really knowledgeable cool people on there.. but there are a few who dominate the threads that just rub everyone, including me the wrong way.

Hey Mike, I'm officially stealing your quote by the way... Click here to enlarge

I was chatting with the some guys out here in So Cal about bringing it to a track event at Laguna Seca, unfortunately they have a 92 db limit at the track. I asked them if there was a way around that, they said "why, it shouldn't be a problem with a Bimmer,,, how loud can it be?" My response was not half as good as yours... Next time, I will have a much better one... Click here to enlarge

Thanks again for all your hard work on it by the way, she goes to her first car show this Saturday at the La Jolla Concourse in San Diego.

Not as bad as you'd think,,, The R888's do real well and the suspension work I did stiffened up the car a ton. I was surprised... pleasantly!!!
