Any pics of what the side wall looks like on the tire mentioned. I do not think so under a stock fender it would be possible. 17's , and 16's are what I think most run for the strip.

    summitracing.com

A lot of the Mustang guys daily drive radials, they are big fans of the Nitto's for that duty.

The E36 is way tougher to get tires like that to fit.

I think it can be done with areally agressive roll. If I was planning on doing something like that I would wait until I was ready to paint my car.

Yea the thing that sucks. I want to find out what Mike R runs on his e36. When I seen his car in person the fenders were rolled super agressive. I fenders were rolled by suckers who suck at life. I had to have my camber messed with not to rub. I need to go and have them rerolled. I think this go around I will go to Max Psi to have it done.

Why not just replace them with the same?

Just seeing what else people are running, plus driving in heavy rain will make a man out of you... Sketchy to say the least!

Well you can't expect to run a drag radial in the rain and get traction. It's dangerous honestly.

245/40/18 Nitto NT05 on all four corners. Hook great in second gear or when heated up

So the question remains, what are you looking for? Something you can run in the rain?
