I'm also quite happy with my BMS catch can. I've had it on my car for about 2500km and had a finger width of oil in it. Much better than the AR Design catch can that didn't catch anything in the two years I had it.

The DIY OCC that I've been using for about two years did function extremely well. It didn't returned any turbo mode oil fumes at all to the intake though since it was vented to atmosphere. A few days ago I removed the outlet hose on the BigTom IC and replaced it due to a leak. There was no sign at all of oil in the hose, absolutely dead dry, which was surprising. When I removed the stock IC in 2009 I could pour out oil from it, after it has been running w/o OCC for the first two years. So there is no question a working OCC makes a great job.

It will be interesting to see later how good the BMS OCC is versus the old one. In case it returns some oil that leave traces in hoses I'll went it to atmosphere as well. Time will tell how good it is and I hope to be able to use a closed system.

Tom you should resell that oil in small jars. Maybe if the other EU N54s pour it in their valve cover they will pickup some of your cars performance! Click here to enlarge

The catch seems to be quite linear over time. It could be a bit more or less depending on driving habits and climate conditions.
