Doing my part.... BMS Meth elbow!!!!!

Alright guys, I was lucky enough to test drive the BMS Meth Elbow, and I am a fan! Terry is on the last steps of development with this piece, and he decided to give me the opportunity of being the average idiot. I passed the test of being able to install it.
Pretty easy install overall, probably the easiest of the ones out there...

As you can see, it's a simple install. One hose, two clamps, like the factory piece.

First step is to pull you BMS DCI that you already have, and cut the factory clamp on your car...

Then install the BMW meth hose and clamp down!

Then install the methanol nozzle. Easy-peazy.

Then button all that $#@! up and be the baller that you already are, just increase the gain 10-20%

Seriously, I thought my tap into the stock charge pipe was the way to go, but the methanol injection would cut in and out every once in a while with my Devils Own tap.
I NEVER had the same issue with the demo charge pipe that I got from Terry. Honestly thought that moving the nozzle back a foot or so wouldn't make a difference, but I was WRONG. Well, live and learn, I guess. Props To Terry and the BMS crew. Thanks again.
If anyone has question whether to purchase this elbow or not, I wouldn't hesitate. This version doesn't have all the silicone hoses, elbows and clamps like the others. It's simple and effective.

Did I mention that installing this elbow increased my penis size? Well, maybe that much isn't true, but my wife sure has been frisky lately. Normally, I would blame the spring weather, but knowing what I do now, I HAVE to blame this new elbow!

Okay, enough with the bull$#@!, but before with methanol, it would drop out every once in a while, while doing super crazy stupid 5th gear runs, but with this elbow, there is no drop out. Good for me, bad for the local coppers that hit the lights and try to keep up!

So this is pliable silicone? Bung can't come out? Terry can you do 2 1mm aqua nozzles? I now have the stock charge pipe tapped and moving it back would be nice. Just clamps to the stock IC and charge pipe right.

I got the AR elbow, didn't like it, didn't want to get air tight, ended up using silicon to seal it. This looks so much cleaner and it seems to be a much better design. Not having four clamps holding a small alu bend there is a great development.

Will replace my AR elbow with this one.

Very clean looking, nice job BMS... How is the bung held in there? Is it just a little disk molded in the central layer of the silicone? Any chance of over-torqueing the nozzle and ripping out the disk?

    Nice write-up and pics.

Yes, it's a disk molded in the middle layers of silicone. You can definitely over torque it and cause the disk to spin (making removing nozzle a PITA) but you'd have to really try. We went through 5-6 prototypes before we found a method that was strong enough. We have a batch of 100 being made now and will add them to our site when ready at an intro price of $49. After the first 100 they will be $59.

Freaking sweet. Any chance of getting a deal with one of the charge pipes you carry for the 2010+ cars?

The N55 chargepipe? We have those for $279 but this elbow won't fit them. The elbow is for OEM N54 2006 to early 2009 models.

Nice price for this! I may replace my AR elbow with this one when it's available too.

Could this squeeze over a 3" ETS charge pipe? The length dimensions of the pipe are similar to stock. Not sure if this is the same question Forced Air just asked, but if not, do you plan on making some for aftermarket charge pipes? I never got bungs on mine because I "thought" I'd never be interested in meth.....

    Nice looking elbow!

You know you can pull the stock elbow without cutting the clamp. It just takes some time and some finesse.

no no...the late 2009 and 2010 N54s. With the one piece chargepipe and elbow. In order to use the elbow we have to buy a 2006- early 2009 chargepipe, or an aftermarket one.
