Process is coming along nicely, the headers and the S/S Connecting pipes will be mated to the existing exhaust by closing day tomorrow, talk about a challenge fitting headers in the E31 Chassis... It's like fitting N.Y into C.T

Looks like a clean car Click here to enlarge ... Isnt that white tape not safe for extended periods of time? I see a lot of blue tape going on cars rather than the white stuff. And people say the white stuff gets nasty over time.. Any truth 2 this from ur experience?

    +1

Regular masking tape is NOT GOOD for THAT situation,
no matter what experience one might have.
The greens and blues are DESIGNED to mask sensitive areas for extended periods of time.
The chemical consistency will change EARLIER in regular masking tape and, well, you know...

Nice old, fat hot rod though.

    Any progress? Pron shots........................

Car is completed the tape did not give us any issues upon removal... THe customer will be picking up his car Wednesday afternoon for break in progress before we get her on the dyno and lean on her.

The E31's base line dyno was in the 350's WHP, We should see 410 -420 WHP after the break in procedure.

    I'm confused
as to how many of the items you listed are being or have been done at ICS.

    Factory Rebuild engine in house
    6 Speed Transmission
    ESS Super Charger Kit
    Eisenman Exhaust
    Sun Roof Delete
Alcon Brake kit on all 4 corners
    Bi stein Suspension
    Sway Bars
Smaller Crank Pulley to raise the boost in which be lost through the S/Sprint Headers once installed and back pressure is freed up.
    ICS Custom Catch Can
    1 Step Cold Spark Plugs

Now now, you have a big fanbase here.

Looking forward to the dyno and more pics! Not often we get to see 8 series work.

I didn't mean to put you on the spot.
I noticed the customer came here to note that someone else
had already installed MUCH of the goodies you listed.

    Let me simplify my question
    to ease your pain.
    (Matching your sarcasm)

What did you actually do to the car?
    Engine overhaul and exhaust?
