How wide can i go? (rims)

    misleading, but rims and tires.

I can buy a new set of CF5s for the rear, they make them in 19x10 19x11 and 19x12
im thinking i can go with an 11" rear, can i? what about 12" id rock that if i could..

I gather from the other thread 285/30 should be no problem, what about 285/35 or 285/40
also 295 and what width to go with that?
    im so confused..

What are the stock tire sizes? You want to try and keep the same width/sidewall ratio as stock to keep the speedo in check. As you go up in size. Just did some checking, looks like stock 19" sizes are 245/35 & 265/35. If you wanted to run a 295's I'd go with 295/30 to keep the aspect ration in check. 295's would fit an 11" rim with no problems.

You will be fine with 19x11 and 295/30. Won't even need a fender roll.

Go 19x10 front and 19x11 rear. 275/30 and 295/30. You will have nice concave front and rear.

I seen people say 305's fit in rear without rubbing. Just need the right offset.

285/40 sounds very tall, would stick with 35 or 30
Never thought I would see the day...

damn, x10 fronts? thats kinda big hough isnt it?

so im thinking 19x9 245/35 FR
19x11 295/35 rear, that sound like a good combo?

Nope, you'll want to go 295/30 in the rear. You're front tire will have a diameter of 25.8", the rear will be 27.1 going 295/35. A 295/30 will have a diameter of 26".

    So...go with a 245/35 19 front and 295/30 19 rear.

Nope, it is common setup. A lot of guys are running 10 fronts and 11 rears.

Just run a 305/30, it has been done plenty of times.

Run your current 19x10 rear wheels in the front. Then order up some new 19x11 for the rear.

What is the offset of the 19x10 you currently have?

335 fitment, so i think like +35 on my current rears, but i have 15/18/20mm spacers, but i want to not use spacers

Not everyone's 285/30 is the same keep that in mind. PS2's at that size did not rub (19 inch) but A Pirelli Pzero Corsa did.

    I think I had 19x10.5 in back.

Yeah, some tires are more rounded than others and less prone to rub.

Some tires with more rounded sholders:
    -Toyo T1-R
    -Falken FK-452
    -Nitto Invo
    -Hankook V12 Evo

But the key is offsets. With correct offsets you can fit some hefty rubber under the M3, with zero rubbing or need for fender roll.

That should do it, considering the car isn't slammed to the ground. People have gone more aggressive with offsets, some a lot more aggressive. But then you get into fender rolling.

285/35 will be too tall, you'd need to go with a 285/30.

Once again, depends on the offset.

I ran 285/30 and did rub with certain 285 tires.
