Nope, but I'm probably going to get a dogbox.

Here is a video of it in action:

Car is currently getting the following: CAE shifter, Bimmerworld strapless clutch, Bimmerworld solid trans mounts, gold reflective heat wrap lining trans tunnel, new Ground Control camber plates, and a corner balance. Can't wait to get it on the track on the 22nd! I will continue to update the thread with progress.

Here are a few shots of the CAE shifter installed:

So I got the car out on the track today with all the new mods (Bimmerworld strapless clutch, solid mounts, new set of GC camber plates, CAE shifter, Stoptech brakes, etc.) it felt great. It took a session to learn the car again, but after that it was smooth sailing. Really loving the clutch and the shifter, but my favorite mod is definitely the BBK. I was able to go so much deeper into the braking zone and didn't have one bit of brake fade. I'll update the thread again tomorrow with a few more pictures and videos.

Here are some pictures and videos of this weekend. The car ran really strong and I was really able to cut down my times this weekend, that is, until the bottom end gave out. Debating on rebuilding my S50 or swapping in a S52 block right now. Hopefully I will be able to get it done quickly so that I can get it back out on the track, where it belongs!

    Bummer man. Whose S52 block?

I mean if you build the bottom end it will be stronger for track duty.

How many miles did you have?

I'm actually just going to swap the pistons and rods out in my current block, along with a few supporting mods to make sure it holds up for a while (baffled oil pan, dual fuel pumps, oil cooler, gauges, etc.). The bottom end had like 150,000 miles on it, so I guess it lived a good life. The good news is that it will be running stronger than ever once its finished!

@Mike@VAC I'm hoping you might be able to give me some suggestions on the rebuild. Would you say an ATI damper is necessary to prolong engine life, or would the money be better spent elsewhere (ex. VAC dual oil pumps and S54 pan)?

Well, the engine is all torn down and it was found that one of the oil pump bolts was just lying in the oil pan. This caused the pump to cavitate and the engine to overheat.

Seems like the valve slightly touched the piston

    Only in cylinder 4 though

Bottom left bolt was not in place, which was probably the cause of the engine failure.

The crank doesn't look so hot, either.

Inadequate lubrication, so the bearing overheated and damaged the surface.
