Took a 3 hour study break tonight and got a whole lot done. I'm hoping to go back tomorrow and finally finish it up. There is nothing difficult left, so it shouldn't take more than a few hours.
Connecting the driveshaft and fixing the shifter that was incorrectly installed... lol
OBD1 coolant adaptor pipe
Finished installing the new AKG 75D mounts.
Getting the cooling system back together
Decided to purchase an oil cooler since I don't feel like taking it all back apart to put one on later.
I went with the C&R oil cooler from bimmerworld, euro oil filter housing, euro oil filter housing banjo bolt, AN line adaptor, and Russell 10 AN lines and hardware. I considered going with the VAC kit or piecing one together on my own, since it would be much cheaper, but I absolutely hate the idea of putting an oil cooler in front of the radiator. I know a lot of track guys do it, and sure its better than no oil cooler, but its a terrible location to place it. Also, the C&R oil cooler is aluminum, which is much better than the commonly used brass exchangers.
Alternator and PS motor removed
Stock housing removed
Euro housing installed
Mounted the gauges and left a spot for AFR
AN adaptor installed
New banjo bolt
All back together

Oil cooler install is complete. Wiring harness and intake manifold going on tomorrow.

Wiring up the gauges
Ran the wires straight to my dash panel
Manifold installed, getting ready to connect the wiring harness
Replacing the coolant, oil, etc.
Installing all of the trim
And she started! All thats left is to install the hood and then off to the dyno next Friday!

I love this thread....all the pictures and step by step install dialog is great. I just wish i was as mechanically inclined.

Finished up the car and got the hood on.
Took it out to make sure everything checked out
Put it on the trailer to get an exhaust bung welded in
New AEM AFR gauge installed
Getting fueled up and ready to head out to the track

The car did very well and I set a new personal best lap time (1:58.7), which was a consistent time as well.

Thanks to Jeremy5000 and Bimmerzone, my MCS double adjustable coilovers, Hyperco 2.25" springs, Ground Control rear shock mounts, Ground Control rear articulating spring perches, Ground Control bumpsteer tie rods, and reinforcement plates finally came in! 2014 is going to be a great year with big things to come. I already have more on the way. I plan on competing in TTB this year, and I'm about to have the car right where I want it.
If anyone needs any type of part, I would definitely recommend bimmerzone as they were very easy to work with, have the best pricing hands down, and got everything to me in a timely manner.
All the parts laid out
Ground Control coilovers removed.
Ground Control race camber plates cleaned up
Motion Control coilover installed
Drivers side complete
Finished up the install! Just waiting on a few more bits and then I'm going to have it corner balanced, aligned, and ready to drive!
Stock suspension removed
Ground Control rear articulating spring perch installed.
Dad adjusting rear ride height.
How it sits now. The ride height will be changed during corner balancing.
Had the car aligned, corner balanced, and tires put on. Also installed my new Brooks Motorsports wing.
Waxed the trunk before install

Received and installed a racetech 4119 seat last weekend! I had planned on taking it to the track right after, but I had a gas leak. I am ordering dual fuel pumps and replacing the sender seals.
