Car is going to be a beast. The injectors should be fine since I believe thats what I used on my car when I pieced together a schrick cam kit on my car years ago. High Imped injectors is what our cars use. Can't wait to see this thing up and running.

So the stock head is off and stripped down. Here are the stock cams and trays.
New 24 lb injectors. These will be a nice upgrade since I was running the stock 17.5 lb injectors before. They should meet the fuel requirement demanded by the cams and tune.
Next up are the supertech valve springs to aid in preventing damage incase of a mis-shift.
Here are the sunbelt stage 2 cams. I haven't come across too many people running them, but they should make decent power. Hopefully I can get it on the dyno this month. I also had the valve cover sand blasted and powder coated black.
I ordered an Epic Motorsports tune specific to my new mods. This car is going to be FAST.

Just got the car back today. It sounds great and it really moves now. I'll update in more detail tomorrow. Here is a pic of the powder coated valve cover though.

My friend has been dying to make a video of my car for about 5 months now, but I just haven't had the time. I finally got it back from the shop after having the head rebuilt (loving it) and figured this would be the perfect time to do it. He doesn't post here, so I'll go ahead and share it for him.

The audio on the video is really well recorded....
I enjoyed the vid. The nighttime shots give it a cool look, menacing kind of.

Had a great time at the track this weekend. The car performed well and I learned a whole lot this weekend; more than I thought I would in 2 days. The new mods are DEFINITELY noticeable. The cams make the car pull so hard all around the track. It was absolutely no problem to pass 3 cars at a time on the front straight. Both instructors that rode with me commented on how hard the car pulls and how great the exhaust sounded.
The first day out, it decided to rain, making the track extremely slippery. Even though I was on street tires, I spun twice, but I learned what to do in that situation and the limit of the car in wet conditions. There was absolutely no damage done to the car so I was good to get back out there.
As it dried up, I started really pushing the car as I had just focused on perfecting the line while it was raining. I feel like I really got it down and my times agree. I was running consistent 2:07-2:08's with a fastest of 2:05. While these are not record setting laps, I feel that they are pretty good for my skill level. I did not get passed once this weekend and I found myself lapping the field every session. The car really had a lot left in it, but I had to let off about 500 feet early in the main straight and a bout a hundred feet earlier in the two back straights due to worn down brakes. I will be upgrading them to something much better before the next outing.
If you have any questions, please let me know
Just so everyone knows, the reason people are sticking their arms out the window is because they are signaling me to pass

That's a good looking car man. I want to get my hands on a convertible one and just keep it stock and make it my DD so I can get my hands greasy but I'm a grad student so no money for that. Either way, man. Looking good and glad to see you're learning to drive well in that car and doing it consistently! Keep us posted and keep on improving!BimmerBoost's Resident n00b...

Thanks, guys. I really learned a lot this weekend about controlling the car. Just ordered PFC 2-piece rotors, z-rated PFC pads, and a caliper rebuild kit. I was about to order stoptech ST-40's, but everyone talked me out of it.
