    Hamann tunes teh M5: 720hp

German tuner Hamann has tuned the new M5
They squeeze 720hp out of this engine, with 900Nm of torque.
They also widened the wheelarhes a little to make room for the wheels.
The frontwheels are 25mm wider, and the rear wheels got 30 mm more rubber on the road.
The car is lowered by 30mm.

damn, if these 'safe-side-tuners' are cranking out numbers like this, i can't wait to see a rear performance/engineering shop take a crack at the s63tu. on the s63(and tu), the turbos spin in the opposite direction as 'normal' turbos spin. it was engineered that way from BMW because of the manifold design and airbox layout. which means a headache for the cheap turbo swap. that's why all these guys like hamann will utilize stock turbos, they don't want to get their hands dirty.

Hamann builds a widebody F10 M5 with supposedly 720 horsepower

Here is Hamann's widebody F10 M5 body kit. In addition to the body work, Hamann claims to have tuned the car to 720 horsepower. We hate when Hamann releases these claimed numbers without dyno graphs or acceleration numbers to back them up. Hey, they are a big name and can get away with it but this kind of thing would never fly with US tuners. The widebody itself is not bad but they of course had to go and throw LED's in the front bumper which kind of cheapen the image of the car.

The bodywork is self explanatory but it allow Hamann to fit 21 inch wheels which allow up to 325mm width rubber in back and 265mm up front. The interior also gets a bunch of Hamann goodies like aluminum pedals and special leather with the Hamann logo which is cool for people into name brand aftermarket parts.

How much does all this cost? We do not know, but we doubt many of our readers will be interested in purchasing it anyway when there will be much better values offering much better results.

Sorry I don't like the color combo's they've chosen. Also I'm sick of all the car manufactures trying to copy Audi with those damn LED's. One more thing those wheels are FUGLY!

I'm not sure how things are in the US, but in Europe daylight lights are mandatory for new cars. Here all new cars must have them. So yes, you will not see any European car without LEDs.
It is not a matter of copying Audi...

Yuck that is a disgusting looking body kit. Also sticky Dinan "gets away with it" just fine here in the US.

Hamann, ACS and Hartge are very big names, but i'm not sure why their stuff look like crap. They should all fire the men behind these $#@!ty looking cars.

Hamann usually provides engine dyno graphs BTW.

Daytime lights are one thing and we have them here. I have daytime running lights on my car. I'm referring to using the same LED strip as AUDI.

Have you seen the new Hyundai Azera? LED's everywhere, headlights, foglights, taillights, they all are LED's.
