    2006 Pontiac GTO vs E92 335 COBB stg.1

Back to Mexico. Surprised by the results.

Some facts - GTO is stock
335 has 56lbs rear wheels with tires.

Maybe just me, but something seems off, unless that goat is a factory freak. What version of stage 1 are you running? Sport or aggressive?

Definitely never let that guy ride with you again, lol.

*edit - For reference, I run Stage 1 agressive with stock exhaust and have never had an issue with a stock gto. Not even close.

Something doesn't make sense. Even with those heavy wheels and another passenger it shouldnt have been like that. The GTO barely traps a 105 stock, that's pretty much what the 335 does as well... when stock

Definitely not saying they're slow, especially with a couple basic bolt ons. But with the OP's mods he should've done much better against a stock one, even the 6.0.

IDK, I hangout with LSx guys mostly and the outcome seems to be expected for a Cobb stage 1 car. They are pretty quick from a roll, especially with a gear swap. My buddy has a bolt on and tuned LS1 GTO, which is about equal to a stock LS2 and I just barely crept away with JB4 map 1 and dci.

GTO's have gone 107-108 stock. The auto's are a good bit slower

The 20's on the 335 were removed to get refinished. Stockers are on it now and feels much stronger. Hopefully my buddy with the GTO will come around this weekend and we can rematch it with the camera man driving the 335
