its funny how these internet memes have become such a craze. they are funny in some cases because of the crudeness of the drawing but the either serious or funny scenario. it makes it seem unprofessional, something you or i could do. it started with faces to express emotion and it has turned into comic strips like the ones shown. i repped you on one i found funny, cant rep ya again until i spread more around.

I think you're spot on here... it's the utter simplicity of the drawings combined with the fact that the original creator(s) have almost exactly captured each emotion through stick figure faces. Plus a bunch of the scenarios in the various comics are things that I can directly relate to but never had a perfect way of expressing them.
