Since this is a strict budget, certainly TRM is a good suggestion but I wouldn't just leave it at that. Other suggestions should be welcome.

if the hpf car can handle 550rwhp thats not even all in, than i think a s52 can too. gg didn't you make about that on your baseline with the fp turbo or was that with meth?

plus this won't be a mls gasket. i want to do it right with pistons. this 10k budget is for parts because ill be building it and maybe 1k for tuning but i'd almost like to try tuning on our local dyno.

i don't get the trm coilover joke. im not cool like you milk.
    TRM...over the subframe + Coilovers = < $10K
    There was no joke.

ICS doesn't have a "kit". They never have. They ALMOST had a manifold at one time, but I think George makes very good money taking care of all his local customers. His contributions to the early E36/M5x/S5x BMW community were substantial.

I saw a readout of their tune and another tune and well, it sure seemed pretty clear.

whos components comprise the trm coilover?
im very leery of companies who source various parts to comprise a coilover. cough*tc*cough*kline
bilsteins in the e36 for being an entry level street coilover are surprisingly decent. also, pss9s are a way better value in the e36 than the pss10s are in the e46 response wise IMO but that could just be that the e36 is more 'connected' to the driver. e36 is dialed to 9 all the way round (softest setting) and the e46 is dialed to the hardest setting of 10 all the way around (pss10s are the exact opposite of the pss9s with regard to the dial, whos the genious behind that switcharoo). the e36 still feels far more responsive at its softest setting compared to the e46!
i think a serious track suspension on the street for the e36 would probably be the only thing id get excited about.
i guess operating heavy equipment has skewed my view of what a harsh ride is.
i havea budge though so AST is out of the question unfortunately.
KW, TC Kline, GC are all hodge podge/cutcorner garbage IMHO. $#@!, even motons are owned by ast now.

because i said top mount or 6765?
im getting another 6765 this week and later on this spring the 6768 for the hpf m3 because the current 67 lost ALL 4 of its center cartridge hardware to the comp housing and that inturn created impeller shaft to go off kilter and caused the wheel to make contact ... god only knows for how long. but after some new hardware i did dyno it and the busted turbo is only 20rwhp from what it dynoed up at hpf
i figure i can have the old 67 rebuilt and then use it on the e36.

Because you said top mount and are wondering up to what size you can fit with that manifold...

someone correct me if im wrong but if anything a TM will not allow me to use the same turbos im running in the e46 because of the limited space under the hood.
it's a budget build so i like the idea of recycling parts onto the e36 but i have yet to run across a pt67 top mount on bfc.

edit: top mount wiht 0 holes in the hood

I decided only way was to try them so i'm trying a set with my new FI setup.

::shrugging:: i dunno much about modern shock brands but TRM's been good to me and i like to keep my wealth in the tribe. They've had my car up on a lift since last July awaiting a part and haven't even complained. Was worried they might start charging me storage or something but nah, they're cool with it and share my passion for the project so i'm trying to reciprocate as much as possible.

(the project, if you're wondering, is a twinscrew sc, under your power spec and way over your budget, OP, but the point is TRM's been aces the whole time and i'd feel in good hands knowing Matt stood ready to fly out personally to set me right if need be).
