New Procharger F1-X replacing F1-R and new race drive gear drive system

I wish I could run this blower. Honestly, this thing would make probably 1200 whp in the S65 if you could ever figure out how to fit the damn thing in there:

    ProCharger F-1X
Base HP Range of NA Engine: 375-550 HP
Maximum Supercharged HP Rating: 1,300 HP
    Maximum Airflow: 2,000 cfm
    Maximum Boost: 38 psi
    Inlet Diameter: 5 inches
    Outlet Diameter: 3.5 inches
    Maximum Impeller RPM: 72,000
    Internal Step-up Ratio: 5.40:1
    Self-Contained Oiling: Yes
    Reverse Rotation Available: Yes

Here is how it compares to the F1-R it is replacing which was already a MEAN blower:

    Gear drive system:

This blower will crap all over a Vortech YSI:

    V-7 YSi-Trim HD 65000 RPM 30 PSI 1600 CFM 1200 HP 78% 4" 3"

    Yah, that looks really cool.
But no chance ever that will fit under the bonnet of a E92 chassis...

I just would love to see a built S85 or S65 with a big ass blower like this. Would really open up some eyes.

I have always been an advocate for prochargers. Nothing against vortech, they make great blowers too, but procharger are always a smigden ahead of the game with their technology.

We'll see how they do next weekend in competition, but there are several cars that I know of making more than 1200whp with an F1R so I think this will go much higher than 1200.

Vortech also has a new model out to compete with this.

Have you guys seen the procharger F5?

Sounds like a 747 taking off.

Considering the blower is bigger than your engine. It might be difficult.

It's actually the F4, my bad, there is no F5. If there is an F5 it probably goes on aircraft carrier engines.

I don't think the F1-X is going to be that much bigger than the YSI. I want to think if a YSI can be fit so can this. If so, this is likely the best blower if you could choose from any to mate, right?

I havent seen the compressor map yet or seen the track record but it seems this blower is the next gen centri that would outperform the YSI. The current F1R outperforms the YSi so I would imagine this thing should.

Ooohhh goosebumps just thinking about it...

I think that could get a lot accomplished.

There has to be some ish under the M3's hood that can be relocated to allow fitment of larger superchargers.
Never thought I would see the day...

Damn this freaking blower makes a hell of alot more power than the R. In EARLY testing tonight the record holder for the F1R ran .15 lower ET and 5mph higher trap speed even with a 75lb penalty. He probably making 200hp more.

Its be too much blower for your car though, they are making an easy 1500whp and thats through a super inefficient TH400. You'd probably be better off with and F1R and I bet after this weekend you'll find a ton of them for stupid cheap.

I think this blower would be just about at the limit. The F1R would likely be better but I really like this thing.

I just don't think an F1R will fit but maybe I'm wrong. If a YSI fits...

i still say the F1R should fit. I dint see why not, the head units are almost the same size.
