Went to track today guys thought i would share

Went to track today was about 52 degrees out I am FBO dp's fmic dci's
    street tires.

Ran a 2010 5.0 GT was not even close he even got the jump and had a full car length by time time it was over he was maybe 2 car lengths behind.

There was a GTO there said he wanted to run but when I said yea and drove up he never came so who knows what happened.

Saw some EVO's out there today but no one wanted to play.

Cobb is consistent these are my normal times they vary by a couple of tenths but thats it surprised a little by the bad wheel spin i was getting think the track was way to cold the 12.2 run was a 2nd gear run not bad may try that more.

Anyone know how the GTO's run I have seen him there twice I want to run him and thought i was going to be able to today but no dice. Click here to enlarge

Yea hoping some good Cobb meth maps can get me into the 11's, if they ever come out, and yea i am tapped out this what I do whenever I go out to the track but nice that it is so consistent and no codes.

Great times but the 2010 GT (4.6 not 5.0) isn't a good measuring stick for the N54 even if they are modified. Now the Shelby GT500 is a different story altogether.

The alpha race map me and laloosh have will get you 2-3 mph over stage 2 + FMIC provided you have the necessary octane. Not sure if Cobb will send it out though. It has drivability issues but is fine for WOT pulls.

Lol are you serious? 5-8 mph? The 117-118 done by laloosh was in absolute perfect conditions, a car that weighs 200 lbs less than a 335i and a favorable track. If you're trapping 2 mph below that in a full weight 335i you're doing just fine.

Fyi I trapped 118 on the race map with my full weight, street tire, stock rim
e90 335i 6at on FBO + meth. If you're at 115 mph on the pump gas map, sounds spot on.

Its a race map. You can run race gas or meth they both do the same thing which is add octane.

All you can do on stock turbos is drop weight and do a custom tune via ATR when it is released. But the 118-120 range full weight is the most you can realistically expect.

You need to keep in mind that my 117 pump and 120 race traps were done in a manual with horrible traction. With good traction and an auto i see others beating those traps easy.

You are not going to get much more than 117mph with 400rw. Even with a lighter automatic.

OP looks like nice runs! I wonder why the run with the best 60' was only 110mph? Miss a shift on that one?

I really have to be careful on the launch I get beat off the line it seems every time cause others are able to launch so much harder than I do. Or i have not found the happy medium yet from spinning to a really solid hard launch. My 12.2 run did feel really good though after i finished I knew it was a good time.
