Darn it! I need new tires now!

I have the stock 18' sport wheels on my 335 with run flats and I just found out how bald they are. I definitely don't want run flats again and I'm not even sure if I should upgrade my wheels as well because I haven't lowered my car. I wanted to but things changed, I moved, and where I am now, I really should have an off-road vehicle anyway.

    Good.
I was supposed to check there first but I got sidetracked when I saw the wheels & tires section.

Good cheapies for the stock rims are Sumitomo HTR III's. I got those figuring I'd burn them off in 5,000 miles, but they have plenty of tread left at 9,000 miles. Hankook ventus v12 seem to be a very popular choice around here, not priced too bad either.

    sounds good. very inexpensive.

They don't have the Hankook's in my size and they can't get the Sumitoro's either.

They have Toyo Proxy T1 Sport for $217F $270R $1,103 OTD

Who are you ordering from? You should be able to those from Tirerack I would think.

Les Schwab. They're 3 miles away.

I would personally never run Sumitomo....

Your life is in the hands of your tires.

Great performance, cheap but low life: RS3s (not ideal for DD though)

Great performance, great life, but expensive: AD08, RE11

You can also look into Dunlop Star Specs, I've heard great things. Never ran them though.

Great DD performance, life, and decently priced: Mich Pilot Super Sports.

If you want to cheap out, then at least get Hankook V12s. They're good for the money

Look into Kuhmo's or falken tire. Also Tire rack isn't the best site. Try discount tire direct.com

Yea, I've brought it up a few times but I never went ahead with it. It's not under warranty, it's normal wear & tear. You'll have to check an auto glass place or something.

I'm guessing it was the reference to how much those tires were for those sizes. . .Warning, more salt: I'm actually shocked at how much they were for your sizes because I paid about 50.00 more last September and my tire sizes were 255/30/20 for the fronts and 295/25/20 for the rears . .

yeah man you must not remember, i don't mind. i replaced it a while back for ~20 dollars. i've been out of warranty for years. you can do the same if you plan to keep the car. and even if you don't, it would be nice to have as people will notice an aging one.
