So....Evolve hit 124.58mph 1/4mi trap speed spinning through 1st, 2nd, and into 3rd on stock 19s. Click here to enlarge

I think it's safe to say that with 18s, stickier street tires, and better launch, they may throw down one of the fastest trap speeds for street tires!

Santapod race way - UKIncline from start to finish is minimum 4 feet so it's uphill.Slip will be scanned and posted on Monday.Grip was a major issue. We asked an experienced Subaru driver his thoughts on the days surface - he said he was getting wheel spin aswell so we had no chance. Our tyre pressures were also factory. There is no question, we need drag radials!Tried to tone down the throttle mapping but there is only so much you can do.Our 60 foot time is appauling.Based on all of that, we are very happy with the result. The 0-100 mph time tested on the road is also very good.

drop the tire pressure down to 24-26psi, you will get a little better traction without adding drag to the car.

Yes, 14k is very cheap. The standard MSRP seems about right, 14k is a steal. (assuming it puts down some killer/reliable performance, which it should!)

Looking FW to seeing some results. You may force us to go back to the drag strip ;-)

That's mid-11 second capable if you can get traction.

I think a different tire/wheel combo is necessary to really take advantage of this power.....but realistically, it's better for real world comparison's sake to do testing on stock rubber. I think a 2.0-1.9 second 60ft is possible with a well prepared track....but street tires tear that up pretty fast...and the slick guys will hate you. Usually at my local track, we run street tires out of the groove intentionally so that the track doesn't get torn up.....

Good luck with future testing....I guess VBOX times are next?

Yes Vbox times are next. Hard to do it around here so will have to book some private airstrip time.

Hopefully you guys can grab some 60-130 times!

I can't wait until next year when someone in the States can run this setup down the track! This kit is begging for a proper track and weather conditions to show it's true potential!

@Imram@evolve -- Just saw this over on M3Post:

We have no idea other than knowing how the Vortech blower behaves when substituted for the Rotrex on our kit & fully tuned
Does this mean that you guys are giving customers the option for swapping the Rotrex out for the Vortech on your kit??

    Nope.

But part of R&D is to use everything. It would have still been unique as it would have been the first Vortech air to air setup in the world.

You never know, if people find the Rotrex has way too much torque we can just put the bracket into production, a slightly different silicone inlet to the intercooler and a different intake tube. Alter the mapping for the new compressor map and it's there.

Tuning is your expertise, so I figured that if it could be done, you guys would be able to tune whatever blower to its max power with consistent power numbers. @LostMarine, ditch the Vortech & swap a ProCharger in
