Also what to look for on a water pump test to see what is a good unit as to a bad/dying water pump?
probably under actuations or something , dont remember exactly. basically you just test run it with the % dutycycle given as option and if the pump cant hold for example 95% is starting to get shot. i mean if it can hold close to 95 is fine. pretty sure you can find print screens with google search

Someone broke into my apartment last October and stole 2 laptops and a bunch of other stuff. One of my laptops had all of the BMW software that I've acquired and managed to get running. Most unfortunately, it had all of the translations I've had done for MSD80.

I managed to get some of the software again, but I need to start the translations all over from scratch. Click here to enlarge I am hoping this will get sorted out soon.

I will be doing more DIY videos for sure.

^^ That's the EXACT same cable I am using. Works great. Just don't use any of the software (except for the drivers) on that CD.

I keep getting an error that api32.dll is on the computer. I tripled checked that I edited the paths correctly. Not sure what else to do.

Make sure Ediabas folder is in C drive. Check if you open Ediabas in c drive. If there is another folder named Ediabas that's your issue. Can't have Ediabas within another Ediabas folder. Check that

I pretty much give up lol. I redid everything a few times, and I just can't figure it out. I'm obviously not a computer person lol. I'll have to find somebody locally to help me set it up.

    Start over:

    1. Delete everything.
    2. Download my zip
    3. Follow instructions very carefully.

Many people have done this already using my zip and instructions. If you can't get it to work, chances are you either skipped a step or did something wrong.

Inpa.exe is there. You did not follow instructions correctly. This DIY is posted on 3 forums and a lot of people have used it with great success. I suggest you start from the beginning.

If he can't figure out his caps lock key is on you think he can follow a DIY?

So the idea is to use your version of INPA ?

I am using version 5.06 and can't seem to find the menu (shift f4) for the injector...........

INPA is just collection of scripts that use the procedures and functionality provided by EDIABAS. The fact that you don't see SHIFT+F4 in your version of INPA, simply means that the script is using a different short cut. You need to figure out what the short cut is for the injectors.

If you can't then you need to use my zip file.

Yes, there is a procedure for registering the battery as well. BTW, if you have the Bavarian Technic cable, you can register the battery with it as well.
