Heads Up Standing 1/2 Mile Airstrip Event March 24th, 2012

Would anyone with the ability to post a link please share the website for this event coming up in FL. It's just like Airstrip Attack but it's in the FL panhandle near Tallahasee in Carrabelle, FL. Just search for wannagofast. Event name is the Carrabelle Speed Festival. I saw this over on bimmerpost and am trying to spread the word to our fellow enthusiasts!

A Switzer GTR making 1050hp hit 175 last time and he stopped in time. So you should be fine?? What kind of car are you bringing?

In all honesty the Texas Mile is a great event. However, racing against someone instead of yourself seems much more appealing at least to me. Plus you'll get several more runs here compared to the Texas Mile.

Plenty of big boys at this last event they had in October. I think he'd be pleased either way! He has a good shot at winning this event not too mention they will have a whole film crew on staff to catch him cross the checkered!

I would rather play with someone else rather than just myself.....

With the schedule it is one or the other, bit of time to decide.

DBFIU, I don't know if you would be serious about coming (I presume you are from Korea). I have a G5 and pilots who are repositioning from Singapore if you need (you pay all landing fees, fuel, and standby time to Korea) and I will pay fuel and their time to the states. If interested PM me. Now if your vehicle is on the other side of the pond that is a problem I can't help you with.

How awesome is this? Seriously, how awesome is this?

Assuming for a moment we had a member from Korea we might even be able to get them to attend. Earl, you crack me up sometimes with awesome posts like this.

If you like their Facebook page you will see there are already several cars signed up. They have a whole album of 23 cars so far that have registered and there's still over a month left to register.

Just wondering what Mercedes will do 180 in the 1/2 when cars like the SLS and what not are only doing 170's in the mile?

Since you can predict your half mile exit what do you reckon your quarter exit will be within 5mph?
