100k that I have to spend on a car? Buy a 2009 GTR and take the 45k left over to AMS for the alpha 9 package.

It really feels terrible. After the race, you will find yourself driving to the Audi dealer to sell the car and get a V10. at least it is what happened to me.

    Convinced? lol

I've pulled on R8's but the V8 or V10 are great platforms for twin turbo mods. So, you don't buy it for the stock performance. I didn't buy an M3 for the stock performance.

I have yet to see one in person. But given the S/C 5.0 L is used across the brand I think there is some tuning potential.

My pops mad the mistake of buying the 2009 XF Supercharged. The only year the top model was a 4.2 not a 5.0. He did go with a +3-4 psi pulley and had the blower ported. Managed to get it from 420 hp up to about 500. Without a tune exhaust or even a drop in filter. I would think the 5.0 tuning should be picking up by now. Plus roots blowers just sound sick. I'm guessing KB = Kenne Belle? (I'm a little drunk sorry)

In that case....didn't even consider that...good idea, bet you could get in most Ford motors w/o much trouble. hmmmm wonder what the motor for the new GT500 will run ($).

    There ya go.

@Sticky - why not get a CLK BS and take it to Weistec ?? Cheaper than the R* V8 TT option, no ?

Yes, and if I could do it over again I would likely have the CLK BS or the R8 V8. I really, really liked the power delivery on Earl's car.

I was on the list for the first R8 V8 at Newport Porsche and Audi (where I got my Cayenne) but they didn't get any at first until they expanded the dealer which just happened recently unfortunately or I would already have an R8 V8.

I'm going to finish my M3 and it will likely be a beast and enjoy it for a few months before selling it to buy some property. I'm getting far more interested in making money rather than spending it.
