How has your progress on this been?

I toyed with the idea of getting one for NJ, lots of great microbreweries coming out on NJ lately. Unfortunately a chunk of my favorites are tap/can and not bottle.

Haven't posted here but the homebrew season is officially off and running! First up will be a Col Bre Coffee Imperial Stout, currently aging in a keg- 9.98%. Definitely excited to tap this one! Second which will go into keg tonight is a hefe, felt like I needed a faster beer to drink on while the stout mellows its flavors haha

Just had the smoked jalapeņo brown and I really liked it with an order of bacon and cheese fries. I also just purchased this $16 bottle of wicked weed sour ale. I have no idea if sour ale is normally this expensive or it's just this place.

Well, I figured it was tome for some updates on the home-brew front!

First off, I finished converting my side-by-side in my garage to a kegerator, overall very happy with how it turned out!

Next up, whats been cooking in my home-brew kitchen...my Pliney the Elder DIPA clone!
This guy has 12oz of hops, a 90 minute boil and 2 weeks of dry-hopping. Overall, this is the perfect balanced IPA, VERY hoppy especially on the nose, with a balanced, not overly hoppy finish. Ive gotta try it next to the real thing for comparison next haha. Enjoy!

Just brewed up a "smash" today (single malt and single hop), also have an IPA fermenting. This home brewing this is pretty fun, can't wait for mid-late February to enjoy these beers.

I haven't tried it yet. I need to find it here in NC first. She just shared the picture because she knows how much I like to try new ones. The one I opened yesterday was the Wicked Weed's Hiver Joe. Its a bourbon barrel aged Dark sour ale with orange peel and coriander. I can say that I like the wicked weed because I tend to like unique flavors. Although, I can only have a small glass of sour beer at a time.

Great beer ! It really did taste like creamy vanilla and at 10% alcohol I was happy with spending $6.

    their creme brulee is great!

I spent last week drinking some Belikin beer in Belize. It's not all that good honestly, 0 hop flavor and sort of bland. If they had a "light" version it would be right up there with Bud/Miller/coors light.

BUT I did come home to an almost fully bottle conditioned Maris Otter and Cascade SMaSH I brewed, snuck an early bottle and it was pretty damn delicious. I have a "Cream Ale" that has been through hell the entire brewing/fermenting process that I need to get to bottles but I am a little light on bottles for now.
