    Have that same glass haha. LOVE Erdinger Weissbier, one of my favorites, too many memories from Germany during Oktoberfest!

    This stuff is amazing too, been really liking Scotch Ale's as of lately, very strong and have an amazing finish. Almost like fine scotch in beer form. This one has hints of brown sugar in the finish.
    Tried the Sam Adams Wee Heavy Scotch Ale too, not as good but still delicious. Also saw They had an Imperial White Beer at 10.some%, really want to try that soon.

    BUT same idea: All Light Beers (Bud Light, Nattie Light, etc) and Sapporo aren't anything to write home about. They're cheap & good for getting drunk on Click here to enlarge

    There are some craft breweries with some pretty impressive lights. As you sort of said, you can't always drink big beers.

    Having Cigar City IPA again and some tallboys of Macro to keep me going while get into my gaming later.

    Walgreens mispriced it over %50 off a few days back and I grabbed all that were left (only 3 6pks). I hope they do it again when they restock.

    The Boosted Tavern: Come share your favorite pint

    Welcome to the beer corner of the Boosted Network
    (Where everybody knows your...handle?
    )

    To kick things off, here's a sampling of my favorite East Coast beers.

    Although I may have gotten my bachelor's out there, I also like to think that I got my PhD in beer; haha j/k...it was more of a master's.

    While most of the beers shown below aren't available on the West Coast, the San Diego area has become the micro beer capital of California, IMO. Harpoon Brewery's IPA use to be my standard for that style, but the west coasters have really dominated this field with Double-IPA's, Imperial IPA's, and even Porter IPA's. My go-to IPA is Sculpin by Ballastpoint Brewery; highly bitter with a heavy mouthfeel, a rich hops aroma, and a refreshing aftertaste. However, Green-Flash Brewery does offer the largest variety of IPA's to suit most everyone's palette from mildly bitter to uber-hoppy. My second favorite style is Barley Wines, which weigh in around 10% ABV, have a bitter-sweet flavor, and pack a punch which is immediately apparent; my favorite example here being Butte Creek's Train Wreck.

    Now, what's in your pint glass?
