    Sometime in March we'll have the 1.3 GPM rated one, but we're not going to use the screw in fittings. If you don't mind paying closer to retail I know you can order it from various sources if you want the screw in fittings version.

    Did you source a new pump with threaded inlet/outlets?

    There is no doubt Vishnu was the best tune for some time for N54 engines. They where ahead in performance and safety. Today the Cobb tune is safer for high power applications by providing a safer A/F ratio and JB is also very good and performs the same at a much lower price. In case Vishnu does not comes with any real new features that is ahead it is game over for them. I hope Shiv is able to provide some innovations instead of BS to move the N54 ahead but time will tell.

    Flash tune with direct fueling control FTW in my book.

    No 458? Even when your pimp gives you the e90post street corner all to yourself?

    No, I sourced a manufacturer for the fittings (rapid fittings for plastic tubing) for all different sizes that I needed and the contact person was willing to sell me a few instead of a large quantity order! It helps also that I have some connections over there! lol I have no idea about the pump as I am only interested in the fittings for my solenoids and nozzle adapters..

    Ok, I'll wait untill March then.
    I didn't had any problems with the instant fittings on my old pump, so I'm quite confident with those.

    You know, there was a log on e90 with some pretty damn terrible AFRs with a JB4.

    He's running ~18psi @ 3000rpm but did not raise the open loop fueling, so was riding maxed out fuel trims down there. He's since corrected it. You can produce bad logs with any user adjustable system if you pick the wrong settings. Click here to enlarge

    The pump has finally arrived and I've done some flow tests now.

    CM7 = 640 ml/min (old pump 450 ml/min)

    CM10 = 940 ml/min (old pump 650 ml/min)

    CM7 + CM10 = 1450 ml/min

    This was with 14.1 volts and an untouched pressure regulator.

    Conclusion = My old pump has seen better days... Click here to enlarge

    The new pump is rated at 12 amps, which means that the old fuse (10 amps) has to be changed.
    Worth thinking of if you want to upgrade to the new 1.3 GPM pump.

    Hi guys! What's about Shurflo pump?

    "This Shurflo pump deliver 1.8 GPM open flow, EPDM /Nylon valves, Santoprene diaphragm, 220 PSI Demand Switch, 3/8" NPT-Female ports, with a Poly Housing while having a low current draw. These water-methanol pumps are extremely durable, and will most likely outlast your car."

    I'm not familiar with this pump but perhaps someone else here is.
